JIMIN POV

Hearing my familiar ring tone from inside the car, I frowned.

I finished placing the last two bags of horse feed in the
back of the truck.

Yoongi remembered to bring
my cellphone?

I looked skyward.

Gray clouds gathered on the horizon. Lightning flashed.

A storm was coming.

I covered the truck bed.

It took me the entire
afternoon to get everything.

I didn't want to get any
of our supplies wet.

It wasn't like the animal sanctuary was swimming
in funds either.

Sure, the animal sanctuary wasn't in a bad place like
before but it didn't hurt to
be extra careful.

My phone was still ringing by
the time I slid behind the
driver's seat.

It started to drizzle.

I looked for my phone, wondering where he placed it.

A couple of minutes later, I
found it tucked inside the backpack where he stashed
my extra clothes.

It wouldn't stop ringing,
which told me the pack
had an emergency.

"Yeah, I'm here." I answered.

"Jimin, thank God you picked up." said a worried voice on
the other end. Hobi.

"What happened?" I asked.

"I'm not sure if Yoongi mentioned it to you this
morning but Tae took on
three rogue shifters last night."

"Alone." I swore.

So that was Tae's way of
dealing with our past.

It was the pack's job to
eliminate intruders but my brother could've taken backup.

Yoongi assured me Tae was taken care of, I was assuming
Jin went to work on him.

Having a healer on standby
was really helpful.

Hobi continued. "Tae's fine."

"However, one rogue
shifter escaped."

"He got close to the pack
house, scared off some
animals too."

"Is anyone hurt?" I demanded.

"No."

"Yoongi chased him off and is hunting him down right now."

"We have another problem."

"Do you remember
Jungkook?" I frowned.

"Min's stepbrother." I said.

"We got a call from
Jungkook's friend San
a week ago, during Jim
and Nolan's wedding."

"That's right."

"Yoongi hasn't told anyone
else yet but two days ago,
San contacted him again."

"San told him they're on their way here." hobi explained.

I cradled my phone close
to my ear.

The last time San called, he mentioned Jungkook had
been injured badly.

Yoongi was out of his mind
that entire time.

If hobi and jih weren't there
to calm him, yoongi would've gone crazy with worry.
