Opening the door leading to the streets of New York, there was still many people out in the streets enjoying the last bit of Halloween weekend before it ended. Asteria eyed the streets carefully before walking down the steps, Sam close behind her.
"Sam, slow down." Tara called out for her eldest sister.
The two girls paused looking at Tara who came running out the door behind them, jacket on, ready to walk with them. Sam quickly stopped her, "Tara, no. Go back inside, lock the door."
Tara shrugged her sister's hands off, "Are you serious? Now you don't want to stick together."
Sam looked over to Asteria who shrugged, holding up her phone. "I'll text Chad. Tell him we got her."
The brunette sighed. "Fine."
Quickly typing a message to Chad, the two began to walk their way towards the police department.
Somehow, the block they were walking had hardly any people on it which made Asteria even more uneasy. The sounds of sirens wailing could be heard every so often causing both college students to turn and check behind them occasionally.
