Asteria watched numbly as the sunrise welcomed their eyes, she sat in the back of the ambulance van getting herself checked out making sure she wasn't injured. Chad sat beside her allowing her to rest her head on his shoulder, Mindy on the other side of her who had just finished getting her wound wrapped. As for Anika, she was rushed to the hospital where surprisingly she would make it despite her horrific stab wound.
Ethan ducked under the yellow tape looking at his friends who nearly filleted earlier that day. "Chad . . ."
Asteria picked her head up at the voice realizing it was Ethan, but she couldn't stop Chad who rushed angrily towards the boy. Gripping onto his jacket, he slammed his back against the news van.
"Where were you?" He growled ignoring the pained look on his face, Chad was not showing any remorse, not when his and the ones he cared about lives were at stake.
"What? When?" Ethan sputtered out in disbelief.
"Last night!" He snapped.
"I had Econ, you know this." Ethan argued defending himself.
Chad shook his head slamming his body onto the van once more, "Bullshit, man! You disappear, and my sister and my girlfriend almost get killed!"
