The present day, in the castle town..

"Link! Link!" Yelled Zelda, as she rushed over to him. Link looked at Zelda, with a sense of confusion. "Purah's tech has been sensing some weird radio signals coming from under the castle.. May I ask, will you please come with me on an expedition there?" Link nodded, curiously.

He grabs his sword, and puts it in his sheath, as well as grabbing his bow and shield, and placing it on his back. Zelda and Link run off back to the castle, and slide down a ladder into the almost fully drained moat. Link notices a pile of what sees to be breakable rubble, and runs over to it.

"What seems to be the problem, Link?" says Zelda, as she rushes over to him. She also looks at the breakable rubble, confused. "This rubble looks like it can be smashed.. Link, do you have any bomb flowers on you?". Link replies with a nod, and pulls out a bomb flower. Both of them back up, as Link aims the bomb flower at the breakable rubble.

Whoosh! BANG!

The rubble instantly exploded into a million pieces, revealing a stair case, descending into the dark. Zelda and Link light a torch, as they walk down into the darkness. They pass a pile of luminous stones, which seem to be giving out a strange, eerie sound. Link gets close to a wall, and looks up at the big mural.

"What have you found, Link?" Said Zelda, as she walked over to Link. She looked at the mural, depicting a great war of a good against an evil. Zelda takes a picture of the mural, and saves it to her sheikah slate. They both start to walk deeper into the ruin, hoping to find other stuff. As they walk through a corridor, they pass through the more liquid / mist made malice, called gloom.

"Hmm.. I wonder why there seems to be gloom in the air, I could've sworn I destroyed the last of it.." said Zelda, curiously. They pass many broken artifacts, which seem older than Hyrule castle. They continue to walk further down, as the eerie sound gets louder, and the gloom in the air gets even thicker.

Soon, they reach a chamber, revealing where all this gloom is coming from. Zelda looks forward in fear, at the sight of a gloom releasing grey gerudo corpse, covered in golden jewerely, and the corpse having long red hair. Suddenly, the unknown green sealing hand falls off the corpse, as a tear shaped crystal drops over to Zelda, with clinking sounds.

Zelda picked it up, curious of what it might be. Suddenly, her light powers react with it, causing it to glow. the air around them gets tight, and even dustier, as a loud heartbeat echoes throughout the ancient chamber. Link slowly draws his sword, unknown of the danger ahead he might face.

Bone crackling noises are heard from the corpse, as it's hand twitches. It's neck suddenly twists towards them, as a set of gloom eyes appear in the corpse's eye socket. "Eek!" Zelda squeaks in fear, as she sees that the gloom has just re-animated the corpse. The corpse stands up with bone crackling noises, and blasts a laser of gloom towards Link, encasing his arm in it, and the master sword.

The master sword shatters, as the tip of the master sword shoots across the chamber, and gives the corpse a cut on it's left cheek. "Was that the sword that seals the darkness? A blade that shatters so easily against my power, cannot save you from me.." Groaned out the dry corpse. "Zelda.. And you who holds that fragile sword, are Link.." continued the corpse.

"H-how do you know our names!?" Exclaimed Zelda in fear, as she steps back a bit. The corpse starts to laugh, as the floor beneath them starts to crack. The rounded floor beneath the corpse starts to descend into the darkness rapidly, as the ledge Zelda was standing on suddenly cracks, as Zelda is sent flying.

Link heroically dives after Zelda to grab her hand, and just as he grabs it, the green sealing hand from before grabs his left foot, and tries to pull him up. Link tries to pull Zelda up, but fails, as Zelda falls, descending farther and farther into the darkness, before turning into a single, little light that dims, and disappears.

Tears start to leak down Link's face, as suddenly a stone hits Link on the head, knocking him out cold.

I had a lot of fun making this first part, so if this blows up in a week or less, I'll maybe create a part 2. Goodbye!
