Info : In this oneshot, You and Obanai are already dating and live in your estate, Obanai's estate is being used as an extra place for lost villagers to rest, for them to be protected from demons at night.

Yuki Pov : 

I sighed as the sun's piercing light pricked my half-lidded eyes.  My ( Hc ) hair spread across the pillow of the futon that belonged to me and my husband. The birds sang from outside as I rose from the shared futon, grasping a yukata ( I think that's what it's called ) and placing it down on the bed before preparing a nice hot bath. 

Once finished, I put on the yukata, untied my hair, and swiftly made my way to the kitchen where my husband had prepared breakfast. 

" Good morning, Yuki. " He said, preparing some tea for the both of us. 

" Morning, my love. " I replied, hugging him from behind. I took notice of the small platter of mochi, wondering what they were filled with but not bothering to ask.

   On regular days, as a hashira, we were woken up early to have time to get ready for the meeting. Then, some hashira would get assigned a mission, while others would stay on patrol.  Today, however, it seems that my crow, Kuyo, hadn't arrived to let us know when the meeting would start. This usually meant that the meeting would be later than usual. 

Once the tea was ready, I released my hands from my husband's waist and sat down across from him, enjoying the tamagoyaki Iguro had made for me.  I looked up from my empty dish once I finished finding that Iguro had still not eaten. I swiftly got up and walked towards the platter of mochi. I grabbed the small platter and walked towards Iguro once again.

" Oba, you should eat before we leave. " I said with a concerned tone.   He sighed in reply, picking up his chopsticks and slowly eating the miso soup he had prepared.   It was like this almost every morning, and it deeply pained me to see him not eat, so I had helped him through it and soon, he had picked up a habit of staring at the food before actually eating it. I got up and leaned forward across the table, holding up one of the mochi from the platter close to his mouth. 

Iguro opened his mouth and took a bite of the mochi before gently taking it out of my hand. I smiled and ate one of the mochi as well.

After we both finished, Iguro stayed to wash the dishes as I went to our room and got changed into the hashira uniform and my haori. He followed soon after, changing into his striped black and white haori as he had already put on the uniform before breakfast.     I heard the sound of wings flapping before my crow had come to give us a message. 

" Caw! Hashira meeting in 20 minutes, Caw! " It said as it landed on the table. I fed it a couple of peach slices, before putting on my sandals and sheathing my sword, Obanai did the same and put on bandages around his mouth, before holding my hand lightly and stepping out the door.
