Chapter four - What. The. Fuck.

It's been a week sense ou mission where Miguel kissed me. He keeps avoiding me and when we do talk he won't even look at me. I'm hanging out with Hobie (spider punk) today. "[y/n], you ok? You been kinda weird lately." He says with a eyebrow raised. "Oh yeah.. I'm fine." I say with a bit of a forced smile, I've convinced myself the kiss was just a dream. "Nah, I know you.. you bein' weird.." he says as he nudges me, trying to get me to actually smile. I smile "just.. had a weird dream that Miguel and I kissed.." I say, he looks surprised. "You like Miguel?!" He yells, shocked. I quickly shut him up by covering mouth with my hand, "No! It was just a stupid dream!" I say, Hobie doesn't look convinced "bruv you had a dream about kissing him, sounds like you like him." He's giving me a little 'be fr' face. I roll my eyes, do I like Miguel?..

[A DAY LATER]

I decide to talk to Miguel, I walk to his little.. office? I don't know what to call it.. he's up on that weird thing with his monitors. "Miguel!" I call out for him, he turns around for for a split second he looks excited before back to his unemotional face. "Yes [y/n]?" Miguel says, walking up to me. "Remember when we uh.. kissed?.. did that really happen?.." I ask, confused and a little scared of how he'll react. "What?" He says, for a split second he looks scared. "No.. must have been a weird dream.." He says before walking away. What. The. Fuck?! I know that happened!!.. though maybe it could have been a dream.. ugh.. I decide to leave it and go back to the usual spider-woman duties of fighting crime etc, etc. the thought lingers in my mind.. I kinda wanna kiss him again.. I decide to keep my distance.. for now. 😉
