Episode One
part three
pilotCOURTNEY RUNS HER HAND through her hair as she listens to her older sister on the phone. "What do you mean she doesn't want to go to chilton anymore?"
"I mean she met a boy today when she was leaving school, dark hair, tall, mysterious... you know typical gilmore girl style and now she's convinced shes i love with him and convinced she cant go to chilton and now she has been giving me the mommy dearest treatment. i mean you gotta help me Court, your use to this. your daughter is practically a quarter of satan going by how you describe her sometimes." Lorelai rants.
"Pull the mom card on her." the younger sister says.
"i did, but i really don't want to force her into something if she really doesn't want to do it."
"Lor, we have been talking about this change for months, she has to go. Amelia is going to be crushed if she finds out she wont be going to school with her favorite family member."
Lorelai sighs. "I know, i just- maybe she will come around after dinner tomorrow night. Thank you though."
"Alright, bye Lor. Love you."
"Love you too."
Courtney sighs, hanging up the phone.
"Who was that?" Amelia asks from around the corner.
"Come sit." Courtneys voice softens as she pats the empty spot on the couch next to her.
Amelia joins her mother, pulling her legs towards her chest as she sits down.
"Cute pjs." Courtney says coming to the realization of what her daughters wearing.
"Thanks, got them from your pajama drawer."
"yeah i noticed, they are blue. where are yours? the pink ones?" Courtney asks, referring to the matching pajamas they had. Courtneys being a baby blue with tiny elephant heads on them and Millie's being the same, just in baby pink.
"I think i left them at Gracies house." the girl sighs.
"Ill call her mom later. So-uhm.. listen. I dont know if Rory will be attending chilton anymore." the mother explains.
"What? Did grandma and grandpa change their minds?" she asks.
"no sweetie, i dont really want to throw her under the bus and make her seem like the bad guy. But according to Lorelai, Rory met this guy today and now she doesnt want to switch school."
"Your joking? A boy? A teenage boy is holding Rory back from her dreams?" Amelia asks confusedly.
Courtney nods her head.
"God, this is so unlike her. i mean... we- we had a pact. we were never gonna let teenage boys get in the way if our dreams, and- and of course here she goes breaking that pact. I mean, Rory is smart she should know better than to put her future at risk like this-." the teen rambles.
"Pumpkin, calm down. Lorelai has it under control. Shes gonna get Rory to change her mind. I promise. We will get it all sorted out tomorrow at dinner." Courtney says, attempting to calm down her daughter.
The girl sighs before getting off and storming up the stairs into her bedroom. She closed the door behind her and belly flops into her. She sighs as her face comes into contact with the fluffy pink comforter. She reaches her hand over to her cd player and presses play.
"Games, changes and fears
When will they go from here
When will they stop
I believe that fate...."A/N: i'm going to be adding some new characters to the cast as the story progresses , so if you notice any unfamiliar names throughout the story then just go back and check the cast list if you would like them to have a face claim, its not very important tho!!!!!
