Miles was walking through the hallway of his school listening to his music as always when he sees Oliver. Miles takes out one of his ear buds and walks over to Oliver. "Hey cutie" Miles says half joking walking up behind Oliver. "Oh hey Miles whats up" Oliver asks grabbing their backpack from his locker. "Nothing I'm just walking put of school moms picking me up I have a eye appointment at 4:35 so she's picking me up and taking me what about you" Miles asks while turning down his music so he can hear Oliver better.

"I'm gonna go home and probably talk to my partner friend I don't really know what we are" Oliver says putting his backpack on his back and shutting his locker.

"Oh....thats....cool" Miles answers a little sad but isn't gonna show he's sad no way in hell is he gonna show his emotions especially at school in front of his crush nun the less.

"You okay you don't sound to happy with that answer I'm sorry" Oliver says quickly noticing something was wrong with Miles.

"Oh I'm fine don't worry and no need to apologize you didn't do anything wrong" Miles laughs a little and thinks to himself that it sounded to feminine.

"Okay you gotta cute laugh by the way" Oliver says before walking off to the front of the building to wait for their mom.

Miles is stunned for a moment his face turning red a little and he quickly gathers himself again and followed Oliver to the front of the building staying quiet now putting his headphone back in his ear to flood out every one.

Miles gets home after his eye exam and quickly goes inside to let his dog outside before his mom told him to or yelled at him about it.

"Keisha when you're done letting her out we need to talk okay?" Miles mom says getting out of the car and waiting for his sister to get out. "Okay....did I do something wrong" Miles asks worried either he did something wrong or if she is just in a mood.

"No I just need to talk to you about court" She says walking through the gate.

Miles heart drops and tears instantly fill his eyes "Oh okay mom" he says putting the dog on the lead outside and goes inside and sits on the sofa.

"So I know you aren't gonna want to talk about this..." Miles mom gets cut off by his sister. "Mama what's court" His little sister asks.

"Nothing you'll understand when your older go play honey" His mom tells her before she runs off to play in her room.

"Anyways so this Friday we have to go to court and you will see Jeremy but it's gonna be okay I'll be there Jessica will be there just dress nice and nothing dirty" His mom tells him bringing up his biological father saing him.

"Okay mom" he says tears going down his face and feeling like he's about to break down into tears.

"Hey its okay Keisha boo don't cry its gonna be okay were gonna get through this" His mom tells him speaking in a soft tone to try and comfort him.

"Also so I was going through my email and I seen you downloaded an app called "I am Sober" what's that about Marie what are you addicted to" She asks instantly making Miles feel worse.

"Oh uh...nothing mom I'm fine I deleted it a few weeks ago" Miles says lying hoping that she believes him.

"No don't fucking lie to me Marie I'm not stupid" His mom says almost yelling.

"Self harm I'm trying to get over it on my own without help because when I try to get help it just makes me feel worse" Miles admitted trying not to yell getting pissed off yet also still sad.

"Why keisha...am I not a good mom or something where did I fuck up because finding this out makes me feel like shit" His mom says trying to make it about herself as she always does.

"No your not a good mom it is mostly your fault but who fucking cares anyways" Miles thinks to himself

"Just from Jeremy and school and stress not you mom your a great mom" Miles says half lying but enough for her to believe him.

"Show me where and when the last time you did cut yourself" She says instantly sounding pissed off.

Miles lifts up is shorts on one side showing her the scars and cuts. "The last time I did was two weeks ago..." He tells her the truth about it.

"Why" his mom asks bluntly but he can't tell her the truth that it was because of her.

"Stressed out from court...it all got to my head that it was the only way I could think of the cope" Miles tells her hoping it's a good enough lie and it was!

"Oh baby girl if your ever stressed out just come talk to mama okay?" She tells him.

"I used to self harm I got over it by just saying fuck what people think and it helped" She tells him

"Mom that's not gonna work I've tried that I've tried so much at this point I need to go to a mental hospital but you won't send me" Miles admits to her.

"The only way your going is if you try to kill yourself and honestly I think this is all just for attention like what if your 6 year old sister walks in your room and sees a blade to your leg and blood coming out what will that be on her traumatizing now go to your damn room and quit the self harm you have a damn good life Marie ypur just ungrateful" Miles mom tells him and as she does tears are just going down his face and he goes up to his room and lays in bed and crys.

As he's laying in bed Oliver starts to call him and he picks up. "Hey Oliver whats up!" Miles says making it sound like he wasn't just crying.
