At 7:25 in the morning, the alarm clock went off.

Fang Mo squinted and climbed out of bed, still half-asleep, and stumbled towards the bathroom. On the way, she nearly tripped over a plush toy lying on the floor, but luckily she reacted quickly and avoided a catastrophe.

What's going on today? It feels like I'm especially tired. I didn't go to bed late yesterday either.

Fang Mo, who touched her forehead and realized she wasn't running a fever, picked up the toy from the floor and tossed it onto the couch. It hit a pile of other plush toys with remarkable precision, and within the next second, three or four of them rolled off the couch.

But Fang Mo couldn't be bothered. As long as they weren't blocking her way, she had no motivation to tidy up the room right now.

If there was another person in the house at this moment, they would surely be astonished by the abundant presence of these anime elements everywhere. The glass cabinet was filled with action figures, and there were all sorts of collectibles that clearly belonged to an avid anime fan.

Who would have thought that behind the facade of Fang Mo, the secretary who appeared serious and focused only on work, there was this hidden hobby?

In truth, it wasn't as exaggerated before. It's just that in the past month, Fang Mo hadn't had much time to rest and didn't have the opportunity to thoroughly clean up, so things were left wherever they were convenient.

At first glance, it might seem a bit messy.

Fortunately, this was Fang Mo's own house. There were no roommates or other people sharing the space, so it didn't matter if it was a bit chaotic. It didn't affect anything.

Fang Mo spent forty minutes getting herself ready and successfully left at eight ten. Excluding the time spent having breakfast in the company cafeteria, she arrived at her desk exactly at eight fifty-five.

As a secretary, Fang Mo didn't strictly adhere to a nine-to-six schedule, but generally, unless there were special circumstances, she would arrive at the company before nine, just like the other employees. Not to mention, there was a meeting scheduled for nine-thirty.

"Xiao Wu, is the documentation prepared?"

"Zi Yue, inform the others."

"And remember..."

At nine twenty-five, Fang Mo tidied up her hair and attire and walked into the meeting room with a straight posture.

"Due to an unexpected matter with President Yuan, I will be presiding over today's meeting. To avoid delaying everyone's lunchtime, let's get started directly," Fang Mo said in a relaxed tone, accompanied by a cheerful smile, which inadvertently relieved the tension in the room.

Although it was a meeting, most people preferred a relaxed atmosphere where occasional jokes could be made. If it were President Yuan at this moment, they would have to sit up straight and not dare to relax in the slightest.

Now that Fang Mo was in charge, it was quite a pleasant surprise.

However, the managers and supervisors in the room didn't dare to take things lightly just because it was Fang Mo. After all, it wasn't just President Yuan who would follow up after this meeting; even Fang Mo, the secretary, was not someone to be trifled with.

Becoming the right-hand person of the CEO in just over three years is no ordinary feat.

When Fang Mo first took up her position, there were many voices of doubt.

The role of a secretary itself is often viewed with skepticism by many in society, let alone Fang Mo, who is young and beautiful. In the eyes of those plump old shareholders, she was probably just a secretary that President Yuan used his power to keep as a mistress.
