Everything was going smooth, Monami is also afraid from everyone but Karan
She used to hug him whenever she feels low and his embrace make her feel good always
In morning Karan got a call from department that there is an emergency so he needs to be there
K: Monami
He called her and within few seconds she came to his room like an obedient kid
K: Mujhe headquarters jaana hai call aaya hai kuch emergency case hai, mujhe nahi pata main kitne der mein aaunga toh tum breakfast karlena aur lunch tak bhi naa aau toh lunch bhi. Okay?
She nodded unwantedly and when karan was about to leave Monami shouted his name, and when he looked back at her, she ran to him and hugged him tightly
M: Please mat jaao na
Karan reciprocated her hug and started rubbing her back so she could calm down
K: Monami emergency na hoti toh main nahi jaata sachi but abhi mera jaana bohot zaruri hai please let me go
Monami snuggled her head in his chest and shook her head like a kid
K: Kuch hua hai kya Monami?
M: Mujhe uneven feel ho raha hai subah se
K: Doctor ke paas jaana hai?
She shook her head again
K:Okay, Monami it's alright. Bas I promise main jaldi wapis aa jaunga ab toh jaane do
She left him and turned to other side
M: Ap..apna dh..dhya..dhyan rakhna pl..please
Karan smiled and kissed her forehead in assurance and left from there
KARAN'S SIDE~~~
He reached the headquarters and everyone told him about the children who has been tied as a hostages in The City High School
All the officers wore their bullet proof jacket and Karan who never wore that jacket because he doesn't care about his life and was about to leave with them but Monami's words got stuck in his mind

Mujhe uneven feel ho raha hai

He never wanted to wear the jacket but for the first time he wore it, because of Monami, because he wanted to live with her we wanted to protect her from this cruel world
K: I will be back Monami
He said and moved out
IN EVENING~~~
Monami got a call from Faizi
M: Hello, who's there?
F: Monami hum faizi hai, tum mujhe nahi jaanti hogi but main tumhe jaanta hu. Main Karan ka friend hu
M: Main aapko jaanti hu, I mean aapka naam suna hai Karan ke muh se kayi baar, lekin aapne call kiya kuch kaam hai kya?
F: Monami tum please Rohan se saath life care hospital aa jao, Karan is in ICU and before closing his eyes usne mujhse kaha tha ki main tumhara dhyaan rakhu jab tak woh naa aaye so please tum yaha aa jaao because main usey aise chhod ke nahi aa sakta, I hope you understand
Hearing this the land slid beneath Monami's leg, she went numb, she was breathing but seems likes the oxygen is not able to fill her lungs, she was trying to speak but words are not ready to escape her mouth
