On a field of flowers, seemingly endless like an ocean, there stood a single white tower, floating above it like something out of a fairytale. And considering its sole resident, one could be forgiven for believing it to be so. Inside the tower, sat a lone woman. Well, "women" isn't exactly the correct way to describe her, but for the lack of a simpler term, she just went with it.
She had lived in that tower for well over a millennia, simply watching as her main source of entertainment. And while the surroundings could hardly be called entertaining, for her, watching was an entirely different concept when compared to most beings.
She would have been perfectly satisfied with watching till the end of time itself, but now, as rare as it was for her, it was time to act. After all, an unprecedented crisis was about to unfold. Her one source of entertainment was in danger! And if she lost that, she would just be an old woman looking at her garden for eternity. That was not a fate she'd wish upon herself.
And so, the Great Wizard focused her sight on her target. Towards a lone research facility tucked away on a snowy mountain. And there, slowly walking through an empty hallway, was the key to her predicament. A young woman with hair as red as a coat of a fox and eyes as yellow as a lovely flower. Already drowsy thanks to the trip to the Simulator she had taken earlier, making her fall asleep was as easy as summoning her King to a meal. And she was thankful for it too. After all, had she continued on her way, she would have missed quite a life-changing encounter. And most likely certified the end of humanity, but that was just a small extra.
And with a few words and a wave of her staff, Merlin watched as the woman began to doze off, slowly collapsing on the floor. Following that, she shifted her eyes a few hallways away, gazing upon the Beast she had taken care of for a time and the girl it was accompanying. Knowing the critter would notice her touch immediately, she relaxed, enjoying the fact that her active role was over for now.
" Now then," the Wizard spoke as she fixed her eyes upon the now-running Animal and the girl chasing after it. " Let's see what kind of story you will give life to, my dear Y/N L/N~"

------If you don't want to die in a zombie apocalypse, double, triple, and quadruple down on defense and then turn it up to eleven. It sounds good when it's written down, great when it's analyzed and is inspected up close, but is absolutely horrible in the fields. Holy crap is the idea of playing defense horrible. Okay, real talk. When does someone ever need to defend? Obviously, it's when they are attacked, right? Defend against the attack to avoid getting hurt, that's the idea. It's a good idea because nobody wants to get hurt, right?
What comes next, though? After the onslaught of attacks are defended against, what should be done next? Is it A, to counterattack, or B, to "double, triple, and quadruple down on defense and then turn it up to eleven"? The actual answer is C, run away and flee because "double, triple and quadruple down on defense and then turn it up to eleven" means one important thing; There's no option to run away while we're in the act of turtling up. Yup, choice A was a trick answer, choice B was the choice that was made, and choice C was the ideal solution.
" Dammit, why are there so many skeletons!?" I yelled. Behind me were tens of cloaked skeletons. They made loud groans and clanking sounds as they walked toward me.
One moment I was playing FGO, and the next I am running through what looks like Singularity F from the beginning of the Game.
' What the fuck is going on!?'
I don't know.
I truly don't.
But, what I do know is that I won't die. I won't leave my little sister and Mom alone. I can't do that. And I won't do that.
Dying isn't allowed.
*...Ping!...*
I blinked, as a low-sounding bell-like sound echoed throughout my head.
The next thing I knew was - pain. A white-hot burning pain in my right hand.
" Motherfucker!" I groaned and clutched my hand, as I ran even harder from the small hoard I amassed in the ten minutes I had been here. Who knew training zombies in Bo2 would help? I for sure didn't.
" Gi----GAAAAAAAA!!!" The cloaked skeletons roared out behind me.
I didn't want to look or sneak a glance at them. No, I kept running while gritting my teeth in discomfort at the searing hot pain on my right hand as I weaved in and out of buildings, trying to lose those damn skeletons.
..
Half an hour later, I finally lost them in the city. Though, I did have to duck under a few arrows(swords) that almost took my head off, as I tried to shake off the skeletons.
My near-death experiences aside, I noted a few different things. And if it wasn't for these things, I would definitely be red-paste on the floor.
One; I know Magecraft. I know the basics of Magecraft which helped a lot when I blocked a skeleton's sword with the Elucidator I created with Gradation Air. Next was Reinforcement, which I quickly learned to use on my body and weapons.
With just Gradation Air and Reinforcement, I was able to go Doom Slayer and Goblin Slayer on those skeletons without barely any effort
Two; I am Assassin. I can fight like a trained Assassin with but a simple thought. I now know the ins and outs of being an Assassin and Assassinations. This help from not being killed by EMIYA Alter. I never knew my body could move that way or make so many noises.
Three: I am smart. Like, ridiculously smart with The Art of War downloaded into my mind, making me on par or surpassed by the likes of Zhuge Liang himself.
And finally, Four; I now know how to create Magical Artifacts and Mystical Codes on par with the ones from the Age of Gods. If I push it, I could even surprise it.
All in all; I am now an overpowered Magus who is also an Assassin on par with Kiritsugu Emiya, who is also a Master and has watched and read over thousands of different animes, TV Shows, and Movies with the ability to magical artifacts from the Age of Gods
Sure I don't have Babylon or UBW, but what I do have is - Knowledge.
And Knowledge is Power after all.
' However, a healing spell would be helpful right now too.' Even though I can create Mystical Codes, even a healing one, but with what I have on me and the stuff around me - I don't think I create anything really that useful.
So, we do the normal way; we wait.
Or in my case, fell immediately to sleep.
The last thing I remembered was the smell of tens of thousands of different kinds of flowers and a neverending grassland covered with flowers that seemed to stretch on forever.
