Previously:-
Y/N's face had moved to a blushing mess, their eyes lit up in gratitude upon hearing the explanation and they shakily thanked the Military Captain. Han Jisung too, looked proud of himself, and failed to notice the terrifying look that rested in the pools of brown eyes that could only belong to Prince Lee Minho.
This was going to be interesting.
CHAPTER -15
Kisses, were something Y/N hadn't expected. Recalling the progress of their relationship with almost everybody in the Underworld, Y/N had half-expected to be killed off, before their so-called wedding. But well, Universe is funky sometimes.
The khamooki incident had certainly caused a shift in the mood, Jisung, became more approachable and polite, he had bandaged the wound almost five times, and apologized for stabbing Y/N in the knee too, their friendship had blossomed into a beautiful flower, and Y/N could confidently say, that Changbin and Jisung were certainly good comrades to the H/C haired individual.
Lee Minho on the other hand, had quietened down significantly. His smile was a rare sight, and his eyes displayed deep incurable emptiness. Yet, even the blind could see his soft actions, he made sure to never touch Y/N's knee, always applied ointment on the bruise, and sometimes, when Jisung embraced deep slumber, Minho would sneak small smiles at Y/N.
Jisung, the next day, told Y/N that Minho had sent Chan a message. Since the Prince duo had the same Khyorae, they could easily send messages back and forth, meaning that Chan was arriving shortly to pick the trio up from the depths of these dangerous woods.
That day was composed of anxious glances outside, and an eager Jisung pressed on the window shouting sentences like "MIN, MIN I SEE A FLAMINGO", or "Min, Y/N, this Potato looks like Prince Chan!" Certainly, this new form of Jisung was enough to earn giggles from Y/N and smiles from Minho.
However, the whole day seemed to go by in a blur and still, there was no sign of Prince Chan's dimpled face. The trio lost hope, after supper and made decided to head towards their comforting- beds, when there were bangs heard at the door.
"Prince Lee Minho! Military Captain Han Jisung and the Future Your Highness, Y/N L/N. Prince Christopher Chan awaits your presence."
It was honestly adorable, how the looks on the male faces changed. Jisung's expression was akin to a puppy, he immediately perked up and ran towards the door, deftly unlocking it. Minho, too, perked up, and waddled behind Jisung to unlock the door.
The wooden rusted door opened to reveal the dishevelled face of Bang Chan, with arms wide open which could only be a sign for a warm hug.
"Chan! Chan's here! I missed you so much Chan!" Jisung screamed while nuzzling his face in Chan's broad shoulders.
"I was so scared Chan, I'm glad you showed up." Minho whispered too.
"How have my boys been? Have you taken good care of 'The future Highness', Hmm?"
Jisung and Minho shared a guilty look before Jisung spoke up.
"Chan, she hurt herself while she was riding my horse, I swear I'll do the dishes and all, and I'm sorry for letting you down."
Minho exhaled sharply at the lie, and Chan's eyes were now filled to the brim with a knowing twinkle, yet he patted Jisung's head (Who seemed to light up at the pat) and murmured a short 'It's Ok, boys. Mistakes happen'. Before turning to Y/N with a small smile.
"My Future Highness, I apologize for the trouble my boys have caused. As the First Prince of the royal family, I would love to invite you to a proper chariot with Hwang Hyunjin."
