The boy gazed at the somber sky, hoping to find something or anything that could distract his mind. "Even the extraterrestrials are nowhere to be seen." he mused, the thought of being alone in an unfamiliar world had only increased his paranoia. With no memories to begin with, he was all riddled with fear, doubt and confusion. His mind was occupied with questions as he began to drift off from reality; eventually falling into a deep slumber.

We are about to set foot in his dreams, a forbidden world-that only he could enter. What lies beneath remains a mystery, just like his long forgotten identity.

A light managed to seep through his vision, it was too bright for him to handle. "It's burning my eyes!" as he would normally say, only this time, he didn't make any noise at all; not even a flinch. By the time it gets closer, he forced his eyes to blink open, and after that he saw-

"...."

Nothing.

Nothing? That's peculiar, I'm guessing that not all dreams have something to show to its dreamers. Is it really nothing? There must be something, right?

"What does it mean?" the teen asked.

What does it mean? Don't ask me, figure it out yourself. Such a silly boy. That's more I like it, he was the spectacle after all.

Suddenly, he was interrupted by a noise; a tune, so strange yet familiar. Almost as if he had listened to that melody before, somewhere. But where?

"I can't remember.."

What a tingling sensation, he could feel it within his ears. It felt significant, like the tune was a part of his existence.

If only it lasted for a little longer..

"Psst! Over here!"

Oh my, who is this? Looks like he's not alone after all.. Let's see how this plays out.

"Huh.. Is someone there?" he replied.

"Behind you."

The teen turned around, and was immediately greeted by a light; flashed right towards his senses. He quickly used his arms as a shield for his eyes, the boy wasn't really fond of lights.

"You're blinding me, get that light away from me."

The mysterious entity let out a chuckle, mischievous yet it had a different tone to it.

"Pardon me, youngster! But you have to be accompanied by a light in order to cross this hall of darkness." the entity stated, diverging the light to another direction.

"But it's small, that thing can't possibly overtake the hall by itself."

The entity was rather offended with his statement, "Nonsense! This light in my hand, err.. Should I say this flashlight-would help you get through the darkness in no time!"

How can the entity be so confident about this, the teen wasn't even sure if he could trust.. Whatever that creature was. He would take great consideration from this, maybe this entity will guide his way back home? Who knows, perhaps it will lead him to death.

Death, huh. That doesn't sound good for our protagonist. Don't you think?

"Fine, I'll accept your offer-"
