Curious (A Drake Fanfic)

Curious chapter 1

The pitter patter of rain is the sound that consumed Samantha ' s brain as she gazed out the window as she sat criss cross apple sauce in her bedroom window seat. It was rather peaceful for her. It took her mind off her current boyfriend Brian and their sticky situation. A situation that could all of which been avoided. She thought to herself.
She had never been cheated on. But, then again was she certain that Brian had cheated on her? She had no proof. Thoughts such as these had consumed her brain for most of day. Well, he has been acting very weird lately. He's been accusing me of things he and I both know I would never do. Absurd things. Things with my innocence, I wouldn't even know how to do in the first place.
The sound of her phone ringing caused her rambling in her head to come to a stop.

"Hello." She said groggily. It had been some time since she had last uttered a word to anybody.

"Hey girl! What you doin'?" The girl on the other line said chirpily into the phone.

"Jas?" Samantha inquired.

" Yes. I take it you didn't think to look at the caller ID. Girl what's up? What's wrong with you?" Her best friend said with an exasperated sigh.

Jas whose full name is Jasmine Brown and Samantha whose nickname is Sammy have been best friends since preschool. They have been through preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school together. All of which were private schools. They are currently attending the University of Southern California together both majoring in design.

"Sorry, and uh nothing. Nothings up." She replied.

"You are a terrible liar. I'm on my way." Her friend replied.

"How do you know I'm home?" Samantha questioned.

"Because you're you. You're not all that social. Not without me at least." She replied sharply.

It was quiet on the line for a few moments. Samantha was kind of taken aback by her friends harsh honesty.

"Be there in a few." Her friend said as she ended the conversation with her Samantha.

Samantha let out a long breath as she sat up and began to stretch her limbs until they popped. She traveled from her bedroom window seat and traveled to her body length mirror in her closet. She had on a purple tanktop, and black running shorts. She had no socks and shoes on, only her toes were painted a fluffy pink. Her hair sat extremely curly on her head and she had no makeup on. Not that she wore hardly any in the first place. Running her fingers through her hair, debating whether or not she should do anything extra to it since she would be having company, the decision was made for her as she heard the doorbell.

"Coming!" She shouted.

She then traveled downstairs and opened the door to her best friend who looked extremely upset with her arms crossed around her chest.

"Who peed in your soup?" She laughed as she skipped to the living room.

"Bitch bye. Did you and Brian break up?"

The words sort of caught her off guard. She had kept the fact that she thought Brian was cheating on her to herself. She hadn't shared that information with Jas yet. How could she have known? She thought to herself.

"Uhm hellooo. Earth to Sammy." Her friend said as she combed her hand through her freshly straightened hair

"Uh no." She said almost so quiet Jas couldn't hear her.

"Well you need to. I just saw that bastard with.." Jas then huffed frustratingly and combed through her hair again. It was a habit of hers to do when she was upset.

"Look, girl, we need to talk. I..I just saw Brian with-"

"Let me guess. Lex." She said cutting her eyes away from her friend.

"That's who I thought he was cheating on me with. I saw him yesterday at the mall with her, when he said he was working. Which, might I add he said was the reason we wouldn't hang out. I mean I didn't see him kissing her, and I didn't want to assume...so I just left." She said worridly.

"Well did you at least talk to him about it?" Her friend asked.

"Well no. I didn't want to assume anything. I was just curious..."

"Curious of what?" Jas asked confused.

"Curious to see if he would tell me the truth. You know.... be a man." She explained.

"Well he's being more of a dick right now. I just saw him tounging Lex down in the bathroom at Starbucks." Her friend said bluntly

Jas has always been blunt for as long as Sammy could remeber. She appreciated it very much. She never best around the bush. She got straight to the point and was harshly honest. It was annoying and hurtful at times. However, it deemed worthful in the long run.

"I'm sorry. I guess I should have said that a little bit more suttle. I just knew I had to say it." She explained sadly.

"It's okay." They th embraced each other for a few moments, grateful for each others company.

"Soo, you're gonna break up with him right?" She said in her friends hair.

"Yeah....yeah I am. But r-right now I-I am gonna cry." She sniffed. Her friend the roughly pulled away from her.

"No you're not. You are not gonna cry over that punk. Tonight, you and I are going to have a great time. Believe that." She said sternly.

"H-how?" She sniffed.

"Because, you and I are going to your favorite artists concert!" She beamed. When her friend didn't respond immediately she continued talking.

"Andddd, Rakim got us back stage passes!" Jas just knew that Sammy would know who she was talking about once she said that. Rakim, or as many would call, ASAP Rocky was Jas's...guy best friend more or less. They weren't dating. But, they definitely had an eye for each other. However, Jas assumed that her friend's mind was elsewhere due to her current situation because her guess at the artists whose concert they were going to was completely wrong. In fact, it didn't even make sense.

"Ariana Grande!" Sammy beamed.

"No. My apologies maybe I should have been more clear. Your favorite male artist....hold up! I told you Rakim! Rocky! Why would Rakim buy us tickets and backstage tickets to an Ariana Grande concert?!"

Sammy was laughing now. She didn't know why she had thought that. But surely it wasn't who she thought it was.

"Shut...up."

"Drake!" Samantha was utterly suprised.
