"Look, I know you didn't intentionally cheat on the test, I get that you were just confused so you popped your head up and the answer was basically right in front of you, but you need to be more careful, this was the 3rd time you've been sent to the office this year, we need to find something that will help you out." Mom exclaimed, "thanks mom, but its ok to punish me I know what I did was wrong." "Oh no I'm not going to punish you," mom said, "but I do expect you to study more, that will help you out a lot." "Ok mom." I said with a sigh of relief, thankful I'm not being punished. I walked out her room and into my room, I opened the door and turned on the light, or at least tried to, but it wouldn't turn on, "great another bad thing, what else in going to happen?" I said to myself sitting on my bed.
We didn't have much money, dad left when I was 6 and when Samuel was 2, since then, we haven't got much money, dad refused to give my mom some money so she's working as hard as she can at Samuels school as a janitor, but she isn't getting enough money to pay all the bills.
I stood up and went to my bathroom looking for a light bulb but there weren't any, great I said to myself, we won't have money to buy a new one till the end of next month! I guess I'll be in a dark room, just like my life I thought to myself.
