Fire burning in the night
Red and blue and burning bright
Here I stand, and here they fall
Burning, screaming out, they call
Dragons red and blue and green
They are the cause of this ugly scene
I stand here waiting, it's all my fault
I lost control, and left the vault

The guards got out their drinks and flagons
I did not drink, I simply left
So here I stand, atop the cleft

I heard a cry down in the valley
I did not stop, was in a hurry
I don't know how I end up here
Feeling only shame and fear

The dragons see me, come my way
It is the end, this is my day
To die ashamed of what I'd done
This is all that I'd become

Into the flames, I run my sword
A dragon falls, this is my reward
