Chapter 2: Tired Leader

Keitaro woke up with a painful body because he slept on the floor.

I checked the time. It was 4am. I got up and took a shower. I looked at the mirror "i look hideous.." i thought to myself. I saw every cut i did to myself. tears welled up in my eyes. I wiped my tears and thought: Im pathetic.

I shook off those negative thoughts and quickly slipped on my uniform, packed my bag and went to the front door. I slowly closed it so my mother wont hear. I then jogged to the river by the flower fields.

When i arrived, i took a whiff of the beautiful flowers. I picked out a red flower and put it in my hair. I then started playing with the flowing water and waited for the sun to rise.

The sun started to rise and i viewed the beautiful orange sky as the sun started to rise. I took out my camera and took a picture of the beautiful nature blending in with the breathtaking sunrise. My mouth curled up to a small, but genuine smile.

I checked the time. It was 5:27am.
I stood up and left the scenery. I, once again, jogged to the school. I entered the school gates and went up to my locker and settled down in my new classroom.

I left the classroom and went to the student council room and checked everyone's attendance. "Good morning everyone. As you all know, this is the first day. Vice president, You will check the attendance and help me with monitoring classes. Others, you do what you usually do." I said in my usual cheerful tone

i left the room and went to the hallways. I was surprised to see people that hated me.

"Good morning. Please excuse me." I spoke, trying to avoid them

They ignored my question. "Haha! Look guys! Its the pathetic f@ggot!" The leader of the group said in a playful tone. The other two members grabbed my wrists.

"H-hey! Let me go!" I exclaimed worriedly, trying to get out of their strong grip on my wrists but mg efforts were futile

"Why should we? Being homosexual is a sin! You should rot in hell!" The leader said in a raspy voice. The leader kicked my stomach causing me to wince in pain and whine. The group was laughing at me.

The leader was interrupted by our vice president. "Excuse me. If you may, please let go of the president. Or ill report you to the principal." The two members slowly let go of me, making me fall

"Tch." The leader rolled his eyes and left

The vice president sighed deeply. "You should learn to stand up for yourself y'know." He said as he reached his hand out to help me get up

"Well.. i dont wanna cause problems.." i replied coyly while ruffling my hair

"Still-" he was interupted by a redhead. "Keitaro!" The redhead yelled while running to me. "Are you okay?" He questioned

"Im alright love. No need to worry about me!" I said while smiling. I held both of his hands placed a kiss on his forehead

"Hey! No PDA!" the vice president joked and fake gagged

"But seriously , are you sure you're ok Keitaro?." Taiga said with genuine concern

I sighed "come on.. I already said im fine! Oh and, what class are you in?" I questioned to change the topic

Taiga took out a paper in his pocket and read it. "Class.. A2" he read.

I checked the time and it was currently 6:45. Then i looked at Taiga and spoke. "Im in class B2. Meet me at lunchtime Taiga! I still have classes to monitor!!" I exclaimed and looked at Taiga waving goodbye while smiling, i quickly walked to my locker and took out a record notebook and a pen. I looked back to see the vice president catched up to me.

"Was that your boyfriend?" The vice president asked, panting due to running.

I chuckled at the sight. "Isn't that obvious?" I said while smiling. I grabbed a couple of hair clips and applied it to my hair to keep it out of my face. "You check classrooms C1 to D10 while i check A1 to B10." The vice president gave me a thumbs up in reply. I hurriedly walked to classroom A1.

After monitoring the classes i was assigned, i walked to the council room and placed the records in the drawer. I proceeded to open my phone and message Taiga

After seeing his message, i hurriedly walked up to the canteen. I entered the canteen and walked up to the lunch lady. I bought food for Taiga and me. I looked around for an empty table and saw one in the corner. I went up to the table and settled down.

"Heya Keitaro!" Taiga said energetically. I put my hand on the table and rested my face on my palm

"Hey Taiga!" I said cheerfully while smiling. i pushed the food i bought for Taiga towards him. "Thanks Kei!" I smiled in response and started to eat my meal slowly.

I couldn't finish my meal, so i gave some to Taiga. After he finished eating, i bid goodbye to Taiga. i earned a wave in response. I then remembered i finished all the things i needed to to for today, so i decided to take a nap. I headed to my private study room and unlocked the door. I laid my head on the table and drifted to sleep. When i woke up, i checked the time. It was currently 3:27pm. I fixed my hair and got up. I went to the restroom to wash my face. After i washed my face, i got out of the restroom and went to Taiga's classroom. Taiga went out his classroom to talk to me.

"Good afternoon Kei!" Taiga said walking up to me contently

"Good afternoon Tai! I was going to tell you im going to go home now." I said while scratching my head.

"Alright! Oh and by the way!" Taiga handed my his address and his private study room number.

"Thanks tai" i said, walking away, smiling while waving my hand.

When i arrived, i quickly but quietly ran upstairs to my room and locked it. I put down my things and collapsed in bed, drowning in my thoughts. i buried my face in my pillow. What if the bullying gets worse?. I sighed while looking at my ceiling with glow in the dark stars decorations. I got up and got a book from my bookshelf and sat on the bed.  Once it was 6pm, i went downstairs and went past my mother. I cooked some tempura and rice balls. After cooking, i decided not to eat since i wasn't in the mood to eat. I went to my room and locked the door once again. I slowly laid down the bed and fell asleep.
