Chapter 3: Who did this?

Keitaro POV:

"Who do you think you are? I am your mother. You dare talk back to me?" She stated. She walked up to me and slapped me in the face

My eyes widened and i cupped my cheek. Tears started streaming down my face

"Im sorry! Please.." i pleaded. She didn't listen and started to yell hurtful words.

"Pathetic. Annoying. Irritating. Childish. Stupid. These words are examples of how i see you." She stated. She threw me to the ground and walked away.

I woke up breathing heavily.  My blanket was stained with tears. I checked the time. It was currently 5am. I got up and went to the bathroom. I slowly took off my clothes and turned on the shower. After taking a shower, i went to the mirror cabinet and took a razor. I took a deep breath and pressed the razor against my skin and drew lines. I left the bathroom and went to my closet. I chose to wear a green long sleeved shirt and black pants. I packed my bag and didn't bother to eat despite being bad for my health. I arrived and school and put my stuff in my locker. I greeted everyone in my usual 'cheerful' personality. The council didn't have any assignments today so they decided to go to class. When i entered, i heard the whispers and gossiping of the classroom.

"His shirt looks so plain." The girl whispered

"did you know he's gay?" The guy whispered "what!! I gotta stay away from him." The other guy replied.

I sighed and went to my seat. I flinched when i felt a paper airplane hit my ear. I open the airplane and started reading.

Good morning Keitaro. Its me Evian lol. Its really obvious you're having a bad day. Dont worry about the gossip

I started writing a reply to her. When the reply came to her, she laughed as a response.

-After class-

I went out of the room to look for Taiga but then, i felt someone push me

"You look sad today. Looks like mr. Sunshine isn't so happy." Nikolai said in a raspy voice, glaring at me. He made me look at him by pulling me up by my hair.  "No ones here to save you. I know what you're scared of."

I tried to get out of his grasp, but my efforts were futile. He opened the door behind me and threw me inside.

3rd Person POV:

Keitaro tried to stand up but his body hurt.

"Weak." Nikolai scowled. Keitaro's eyes widened when he slammed the door shut

The brunette crawled up to the door and yelled "Please open the door! Please!" Nikolai ignored the protests and loud banging on the door and walked away like nothing happened. Keitaro kept knocking the door even though he knew it was hopeless. Keitaro leaned into the door, buried his face in his hands, and cried. It was currently class hours so, nobody would hear his loud, painful sobs.

Taiga decided to skip class and look around. He heard faint sounds of crying and started to get concerned. The crying became louder as he slowly walked to where the sound came from. He saw an extremely dark room. He suspected that it was where the crying came from.

"Why does it sound so familiar?..." Taiga thought out loud while walking up to the room. He put his hand on the doorknob and took a deep breath. When he opened the door, his eyes widened and his hands flew to his mouth. He saw his lover curled up into a ball, hiding his face in his knees while rocking back and forth while shaking. He never thought he would live to see the day where Keitaro cried. His lover looked up and his eyes widened when he saw a human figure.

"Im sorry! Please don't hurt me.. i didn't do anything wrong!" Taiga's heart stung when he heard the brunette's vulnerable words. When Taiga took a step forward, Keitaro reacted quickly and stepped back. Taiga was careful not to startle the brunette and walk slowly. When Taiga was near him, Keitaro tried to defend himself. Taiga frowned upon the actions of the brunette. Taiga guessed it was most likely PTSD. Taiga was lost in thought, trying to figure out what caused the brunette to react like this. He sighed deeply and embraced the brunette. Keitaro tried to get out of his grasp, but his efforts were futile. Keitaro tried to hold back his tears but the redhead's warm and cozy embrace made him feel safe. Tears started streaming down his face. Even though the Keitaro's tears stained Taiga's shirt, he didn't mind. Keitaro was tired. Tired of going through all this shit alone. Tired of pretending. Tired of being the one that gives but never the one who takes. Taiga rubbed circles on the brunette's back and started to say comforting words.

"Its gonna be okay love. Taiga's here.." he whispered. Keitaro cried his heart out. Once he stopped crying, Taiga brought him to his dorm to let the brunette rest. Anger swarmed the redhead. He wanted to take revenge on the person who locked his lover up. He knew just the right person to turn to...
