Cardigan- A Katie McCabe story.

★Media day★

I had already dropped Atlas off at doggy daycare, and I am now on my way to the stadium in my arsenal top, joggers, and a 3/4 zip up. I can't lie, I'm excited. I love taking part in media days; they are always filled with laughter and good vibes. As I walk into the stadium, I say hi to Jonas and the staff as I walk past them, I head into the break room. I was greeted with a hug from Beth, as I walk in and I hug her back, slightly confused.

"Is everything okay? Did something happen? Are you okay?" I ask her quickly as she unwraps her arms from around me and says, "Wow, can't I just hug one of my best friends?"

I laugh at her and say, "Of course you can, but it was just very unexpected." I go over to the couch and sit down as I pull my phone out of my pocket and see the picture that Katie took of Atlas was my lockscreen, and I look over at her and say, "Oh, by the way, McCabe, that photo of Atlas that you took was adorable," and she just nods at me, so I shrug her off. I don't even know why I bother trying to talk to her. Leah comes over and sits next to me as she puts her head on my shoulder, and I rest my head on top of hers before saying, "Everything okay, Leah?" and she just nods before saying, "Just tired, that's all."

I laugh as I wrap my arm around her shoulder and say, "Have a nap on me if you want; I won't move, plus I have heard that I'm pretty comfy."

"Oh yeah? Who did you hear that from?" she says to me, looking up at me.

"Atlas." I simply say, as she laughs loudly as she lays her head back on my shoulder. After about 25 minutes, Jonas comes in and tells us about what's going to happen today, and I gently shake Leah awake, and she looks at me and says, "Atlas is right, you are comfy" I say a 'told you so' to her before turning back to Jonas as he starts talking. He starts to tell some of the girls where they are going. "Emily and Lotte you two are going to be having an interview in about 10 minutes so go upstairs and they should be there waiting for you, after that Emily you and Katie are also doing an interview" I try my best not to roll my eyes after he says that. How am I going to cope with Katie for this interview? Let's hope she doesn't do anything to annoy me during it. 

Leah had to go with Jen to do a video together, and when they were gone, there was only a handful of us so I lay down on the couch as I watch some Netflix on my phone, not really wanting to talk to anyone or wanting anyone talking to me, and that was fine for about 20 minutes before Katie opened her mouth and said, "Disilva, turn your fucking phone down!"

"No, it's not even that loud. If it's bothering you so much, why don't you just leave the room?" I say back to her.

"I'm not fucking moving just lower your stupid fucking volume down." She says to me angrily.

"I'm not lowering my volume; it's not even that loud. Grow up, McCabe." I roll my eyes. She doesn't say anything to me after that, so I smile to myself and continue to watch my show while I feel Katie's eyes on me from across the room. Jonas comes back in and tells me and Lotte to head up stairs, so I get off the couch and walk out of the room with Lotte as she says to me, "How come you and Katie don't get on?" I shrug at her question before saying, "I don't know; we just don't, and I don't think we ever will." We both walk into the room and see two chairs surrounded by cameras and lights. We go over and sit on the chairs as someone says,

"Hi, my name is Amanda, by the way, and today you two will be filming a video, and there are questions that your fans have asked about what teammate is most likely to do a certain thing. Do you understand?" We both nod, letting her know we understand, and they turn the camera on. Lotte looks at me, telling me to talk first. 

"Hi, I'm Emily Disilva." I look over at Lotte, and she looks at the camera and says, "Hi, I'm Lotte Wubben-Moy." and she looks back over to me. 

"Today we are going to be answering your questions you sent in about who's most likely to do certain things in the team, so yeah, let's get started, shall we?" I say to the camera.
