While talking with my nan about the programme that she was watching, I heard someone walking around upstairs, indicating that Katie had woken up from her little nap that she was having. "Is that Katie I hear upstairs?" my nan asks, and I laugh.

"Yes, she's awake, and she'll probably come down now and sit down here with us." I say as I turn my attention back onto the TV.

(Since a lot of you requested this I shall give it to you)                                                                                           Katie's POV:

I woke up feeling extremely hot, and I sat up and looked around confused for a second before I realised that I fell asleep when watching a film with Emily. I moved the blanket that was on top of me over to the other side of the bed since I was hot, and I realised that Emily must've put that on me because I didn't go to sleep with a blanket on me, and I smiled at the thought. I got out of the bed, and I heard Emily and her nan talking as I walked down the stairs and into the living room. "Did you have a good nap?" Emily asks me as I sit next to her on the couch.

"Yeah, I did, actually, but sorry for falling asleep; that film was starting to get good as well," I say to her as I put my arm on the back of the couch. "It's fine, we can continue watching it another day if you want. I'm sure Atlas would love you to come over. Speaking of him, Amber sent me a picture of him. Would you like to see?" She asks me, and of course I agree as she takes her phone out to show me the picture.

Once I see the picture of Atlas, I immediately smile. I've got to admit, he is one of the cutest dogs I've ever seen, and I would totally steal him if I could. "He's adorable. Do you miss him when you are going to away games?" I ask her, looking into her eyes. Her eyes are a beautiful brown colour. I've never thought brown eyes were nice, but hers are different; they are dark brown, but when the light hits them, they turn a beautiful light brown. "Yeah, I miss him every minute, but I'm sure he's missing you more since we both know he loves you more. Did you know nan Katie here is trying to steal Atlas from me?" I watch her talk with a smile on my face as her nan laughs at her.

"Do you have any pets, Katie?" Her nan asks me, and I nod. "Yes, I have a cat," I say as I pull up a picture of my cat, and I show Emily and her nan as they aww at the picture. "Emily loves all animals. I was certain she was going to be a vet, but her heart was set on football, so I supported her with that. I'll always support her no matter what," her nan says while looking at Emily lovingly, and I smile at their relationship with each other; it's so cute. As I was going to say something to Emily, the front door opened and Emily's grandad walked in with her mum and dad following. As they all sat down, they all started talking, so I decided to make myself useful and ask what everyone would like to drink and I saw Emily looking at me smiling as I asked everyone what they would like and once I had them all memorised, I walked into the kitchen and got started on making everyone's drinks.
