Noin sat at her computer, preparing a report. It was a warm summer afternoon and many of the soldiers took a dip. Sweat ran down her forehead, and as she continued typing she didn't notice that Zechs had come up behind her.
"Hey, how are you doing here?" Zechs asked her.
It came so unexpectedly that she was shocked.
Zechs put a hand on her shoulder and said "Hey Noin it's just me"
She looked at him a little startled. He smiled and wiped the sweat from her head with his sleeve. .
"You don't want to tell me that you keep working with this heat, do you?"
She got a little shy because he never spoke to her that personally. Not this way.
"Eh... I actually wanted to work outside but I don't have a computer there" she says still shyly.
"You can borrow my laptop if you want...No, I know something much better. You can hand it in another time. You're going to town with me first. I need a new suit for the party of the day after tomorrow. Normally I take my sister with me, but she's too busy with Quatre," he says with a smile.
Noin didn't know what hit her for a moment. She nodded and Zechs grabbed her hand and dragged her to the car. He opened the passenger door and Noin got in. He himself took the driver's seat. They drove off, heading for the big city. After visiting a few shops, they sat down on a terrace for something to eat and drink. They enjoy the socializing and Zechs asks.
"What do you actually do in your spare time, besides writing those annoying reports for me and Treize." She smiled "eh... usually just relax a bit. Not much." "So it's about time we had some fun" he says laughing.
She starts to blush and Zechs took her hand.
"Don't, there's no need for that. You know I've been wanting to ask you this for a long time, but would you like to go to the party with me?"
Noin couldn't believe what she was hearing. She looked at him in disbelief.
"Huh... do you really want that?"
Zech nodded. "Yes... I would really like that Noin. By the way, what's your name because I don't even know it yet."
Noin smiled. "My name is Lucrezia Noin."
Zech smiled.
"What should I actually wear?" she asks shyly.
"I'm going to find that out for you now," he says smiling.
Huh... She looked at him questioningly.
He started laughing and said "Everyone needs a break Lucy and I'm glad I can give you one too. Besides I wouldn't like to see you die at work, I'd like to get to know you a little better. "
She looked at him in disbelief. She never thought this would happen. Lucy was getting really hot now and lowered her eyes in embarrassment. With his other free hand he lifted her chin, bent over her and kissed her gently on the cheek. Her heart beat faster and faster. Who would have ever thought this. Zechs Marquise, whom she has always admired and followed his every command, has just kissed her. She started to blush even harder than she already did and Zechs continued to stare at her with glittering eyes. He kissed her hand and said
"Let's go. I want to do more things with you today."
She looked at him in surprise.
"What are you planning to do with me?! I hope things aren't too rough, aren't you, Zechs!" she asks laughing.
