She handed Leilani a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles book bag. She then rubbed the back of the little boy standing next to her.

"Oh, it's okay. Right baby? It's okay." Leilani softly smiled while pulling the boy into her arms.

"I'm sorry." the little boy spoke while putting his head down slightly. "No, Levi baby it's okay. Go on back to your room bud. I'll come read you a story and tuck you in soon." Leilani said.

The boy ran towards my direction. I quickly tried to make my way back to Leilani's room. The little boy's footsteps approached quickly.

"Ahh! Monster! Monster!" I heard the boy shout from behind me.

"Oh no, no. I'm not a-" I tried to explain but Leilani quickly made her way down the hall.

"Wha- I told you to stay in the room." Leilani glared at me. "I um I- I'm sorry." I stuttered. The little boy held on tight to Leilani.

"It's okay baby, it's- it's just a friend. Go on, go back to your room." Leilani gestured him. The boy stared at me while gulping.

The little boy placed his finger in his mouth while quickly walking past me.

"Please go back into the room. I'll be there in a few." Leilani spoke in a more firm tone to me. I awkwardly walked back into her room. I was more than confused by the way she was acting.
