an impulsive call from the idol came, making Keiz screamed, couldn't believe that Colt actually called him.

He rinsed his face before answering the call. "yes?" he responded. He took the towel and wiped his face, making his way towards his closet to get clothes while still in call.

"would you come with me?"

a 'what' escaped Keiz's mouth, lips parting as he contemplated. "is there something wrong?"

"you decoded it, finish the puzzle, Vera."

the idol responded while walking towards the parking lot, body covered with thick jacket, while wearing a mask. He got inside his car with ease, without paparazzi invading his privacy.

"don't tell me—"

"I will." he replied shortly, heaving a sigh as Colt rested his head on his seat, still waiting for the latter's answer.

"if I come, will it change your mind?"

there was a pause, a pause that made the both of them silent, couldn't answer the questions in their head as 'escape' is the only thing they can think of.

"it won't."

"are you sure?"

"but I like you to be my company before I leave."

it made Keiz sad, almost crying in process as he immediately changed his clothes, packing his bag as he nodded uncontrollably. "then, pick me up."

Colt's smile appeared, relief washed all throughout his body as he drove towards the house of Keiz, location shared by the latter.

"I'm giving you time to back out and let me—"

"I told you, rest with me."

colt remained silent, chuckling in contentment as his heart fluttered. he got ways with words.

"the question is, are you willing to stay with me until I end my life—"

Keiz sighed, hugging his body as he felt the cold breeze of air that engulfed him. I'm willing to stay but I hope I can change your mind, Hidalgo.

"I won't be waiting outside my house if I'm not willing, Hidalgo."

Keiz sat at the bench near his house, disregarding the cold as he sighed, staring up to Gab's window, feeling guilty and sorry. I'm sure you'll understand gab, I'll save your savior first.

as the car approached him, he remained calm, embracing the future consequences of this escape, not minding everything—focused on staying with the idol until the end.

when Colt got off his car, his dedication increased as he gladly went near him, smiling. "how many days?"

"you decoded it already, why are you asking?"

Keiz pouted, smacking the idol in the arm before getting in the car, earning a giggle from Colt before putting his bag at the back and drove.

"is it planned?"

the question that made Colt silent, slowly nodding as he faced the latter for a second and smiled bitterly, eyes tired as it screamed pain.

it's sad how your eyes screams a lot of pain and tiredness. it's sad how the galaxy I saw earlier changed into a black space.

"how?"

"how what?" Keiz asked, busy chomping the food they ordered from the drive thru.

"how did you decode it?"*

"from your recent album."

it intrigued the interest of colt, listening deeply as he continued to drive far from the city, far from the suffocating industry.

"I got curious why the name of your albums are always codes, random numbers rather. at first I didn't bother actually even though I'm having a hint what's really the meaning of your albums." he stated, eyes darted on the focused idol. "but this album, the 0227 album of yours drew conclusion to my head. of course, having a fan friend, your songs literally always plays loudly inside the house, so I know your songs, though at first I didn't bother cause I'm not a fan but yesterday, when my friend played all of the songs in your album while driving, there, I knew it."

"your title track entitled "caged" intrigued me, it caught my attention as I listened to it and there I connected all the dots, from your recent album to your old ones."

"your first album, 910 means 'sorry I hurt you'."

colt who was listening attentively didn't know how to react as his lips were shut but eyes are wide open in disbelief.

Keiz felt how the idol froze in his seat, making him sad as he just looked outside to refrain himself from crying. "based from the lyrics of your songs, it only led to one person and it's your brother, your first album was made for your brother.."

"your second album entitled 6499 means 'please help me through this pain', basing from the title track called 'reach me' it was for your fans to help you, for them to give you strength and reasons to keep doing your job."

"your third album, 7492 which means 'i wish I could have a better life.' means you're still hoping for your life to turned out the way you want it, still fighting."

"your fourth album called 2789 means 'im tired of life' which means you let darkness reign the room you're in, you gave up the idea of finding the light and locked yourself inside a room full of darkness. you finally didn't want to try escaping."

"your recent album called 0227, the one I let you signed means 'i wanna rest' means you're giving up, you're tired." Keiz heaved a heavy sigh, glancing at the idol whose eyes are darted at him too. "and the date you had in it isn't the comeback but rather the day you'll leave."

despite the tears wanting to escape from Colt's eyes, his amusement took over his existence as he chuckled. "y-you d-decoded it.."

"you were waiting, right?"

Colt stepped on the breaks, finally facing the latter as his heavy breathing could no longer be neglected. "h-how did y-you—"

"you were waiting for someone to decode it, a sign to finally do it and now you found me, you're finally doing it, but with me."

"are you still willing to be with me—"

"can I change your mind?"

they asked in unison, pause after the questions as Keiz nodded but Colt shook his head.

so you really wanna leave me?
