Chapter 8 (POV: Whitefeather)
I cannot believe it. My leader died saving my daughter, no cat knew she was on her last life. Along with Goldstar, Swiftstrike and Frogleap were killed. Which meant that I would have to become leader tomorrow. I didn't feel ready yet, I still need them. But they hunt with StarClan now and I cannot change that, but I might see them to receive my nine lives when I go to visit the tallest peak in the mountain, close to the stars. I decided to bring Bumbleflame and Featherkit. As I fell asleep in my nest I saw a familiar cat. "Rosepetal!". All she said was "He is back, he lived, he is here for revenge, beware!" then everything faded when I woke up to Bumbleflame waking me up. "It is almost sunhigh! We need our hunting patrol out!" she reminded him. "Alright. Lets go". All I could think about is what the old medicine cat meant by beware, and who is he?
Timeskip to moonrise
We have just arrived in the mountains to receive my nine lives. I do have to admit, I am nervous. As I waited, a familiar scent appeared. "Open your eyes, Whitefeather" Goldstar said. As I opened my eyes, I saw Goldstar, Rosepetal, Frogleap, Swiftstrike, Willowpaw, Shadedpelt, Nightshade, Littlenose, and Firepool. "Are you ready for your nine lives, Whitefeather?" Asked Alderpaw. Alderpaw had died due to greencough last leaf-bare. "Yes, I am" I replied proudly. Goldstar walked up to me "With this life I give you strength to protect your clanmates" She said as I felt the sudden pain fill my body "Use it well". Then Rosepetal stepped forward to give me my second life "With this life I give you justice to serve your clanmates well and punish those who disobey" and I felt the sharp pain as Rosepetal gave me my second life "Use it wisely".

Chapter 9 (POV: Featherpaw)
It is going to be the best day in my life, it was time for my apprentice ceremony! And my father will be holding it at sunhigh since he had become leader and Bumbleflame became his deputy moons ago. I am very excited and nervous at the same time. I cannot believe I am going to become a warrior at last! I decided to wash my long,thick fur to look good. When I got finished, I looked cleaner than a kittypets fur! "Those who are strong enough to catch their own prey join me for a clan meeting" I heard my father, Whitestar announce "Today, we have a new warrior to be named, Featherpaw, step up". I stepped up to claim my new name. "Do you promise to uphold and honor the warrior code with your life?" he asked me. "I do" I replied. "Then let the power of our ancestors grant you your warrior name" he smiled at me "from this moment forward, you shall be known as Featherdusk". Then the rest of the clan chanted my new name, Featherdusk. "Now remember, Featherdusk, you have to sit vigil all night, that means no talking or sleeping during your vigil" Bumbleflame reminded me.
Chapter 10 (POV: Featherdusk but a few days later)
It was time for me to go on patrol, we have already been attacked by what is now known as Bloodclan. Scourge had somehow faked his death and lives just off the border. But AshClan is still young and not strong enough to defend itself against one of the strongest cats known. We all heard about how he has been killed by Firestar in battle, but as it turns out, he is here to take over AshClan and its cats. There is no way any of us are going to let that happen, never!
