I walked nervously through the red and yellow doors of Riverdell High School. It looked like a typical school, but what I didn't know was that it was so natural, it was supernatural.

I walked over to my locker, which was across from homeroom And right next to the turn of the hallway. Nice. Then, I heard gasps. I looked over to the hallway, and I saw them. They looked Amazing. If the school was a magazine, they would be on the cover every time. They. Turned the corner, passed me, and to the locker next to mine. Nicer.

One of the blonde twins each standing next to the brunette noticed me. "Who are you?" I was still in awe, and I snapped back to reality. "I'm- I'm... Jack Ramirez." "What happened to Gilinsky?" (For all those fan girls out there 😑)

She turned to her sister, who shrugged, and she looked at the brunette, and she smiled. Then my heart stopped. She had fangs. They acted like it was no big deal. "Oh, ok." She shrugged and walked away with her sister To the cafeteria. "I studied her mouth like it was a long lost bacteria. She abruptly turned to me. I flinched and took a step back. "Yes?" I looked around, and she took a step closer. "You saw them, didn't you?" I was speechless. "Look. Stay away from them, I'll stay away from your neck." She slammed her locker and strutted away.

I walked across to homeroom. I saw an empty desk and quickly sat down and looked at my desk. I met a vampire on my first day. Nice. I smiled and the person sitting next to me started to talk. "What are you so happy about, newbie?" He drank from a medium sized water bottle and spilled a little on his desk. He leaned in close. "Look, I saw you with Blair Peddington at your lockers. What were you guys talking about?" "I-" "Cuz' if you mess with my girl, Im coming for you." He hissed at me and showed a pair of fangs. Blair. So that was her name.

What was up with vampires at this school? I quickly walked up from the desk and out the door. Next, English. Alright, hopefully there isn't any fang-showing creatures in there. I poked my head in and it looks OKAY. I sat in an empty desk between desks already filled. Oh no. I was sitting in between the twins. Blair walked in and saw that I was in her desk. She snarled at me, showing a fang. I was about to get up, but the teacher came in. Blair sat next to her boyfriend in the front, that weird guy who hissed at me. "Hi, I'm Mrs. Schooler, everyone, your next English teacher for the year. These seats you're sitting in are your only seats for the year." Crap.

The twins snapped their fingers. Everything froze except for me, Blair, the twins, and the boyfriend. The boyfriend. And Blair stood up and walked to me. Then 5 other people walked in. Other vampires? Not nice. "How are you?" She cocked her head to the side, the twins giving me the death stare. "I'm- I'm-" I stood tall. "I'm good. You?" She stepped back. "I'm your next meal right? The new kid nobody cares about. Ok, but let me tell you this. I have O positive blood, and I bet it tastes all irony." They gasped. The twins stood up. "O positive?" It was weird when they talked in unison, especially with fangs. "I need your blood. In a bag, raw, whatever." She pulled her bag off her shoulder and pulled out about $3,000 dollars, handing it to me.

"What are you doing?" "I'm buying your blood. My pack needs to feed. What does it look like?" I didn't move. She pulled out one of the bills, a twenty, and cut my skin, blood oozing out. I was getting dizzy. She pulled out a blook bag and squeezed out blood to fill it. She let go of my arm, and I fell into my chair. "I, I thought you weren't going to go for my blood if I didn't stare at your fangs." "No, I said I wasn't going to go to your neck." She sealed the bag. And she put it in her bag. Everyone muttered angrily. "Not until lunch period." She made a shooing movement with her hands and they walked out. The twins waited for everything to look normal, and they got a bandaid for my cut, a special band aid, which sealed my cut, they snapped their fingers, and English class went on like nothing had happened.
