"Look at me dammit!" Touya screamed.
Sweat and blood beaded down his face. A lump formed in his throat. "Father look at me please! I'll do better.. please. I'll be better i promise!" He pleaded to no avail. Enji simply cleaned the blood off of his wrist before leaving the training room.
Sitting in the deafening silence Touya slumped against the wall. He covered his face and finally a sob left his throat. Unintentional, uncontrollable. Soon he began to cry harder. He punched the hard ground until his knuckled bled. And even then he didn't stop until his sister came in.
"It's ok bubba." She said quietly, wrapping her arms around the bloody, sweaty teenager.

He stared at the picture a top the living room mantel. He wish he could say it made him happy. He wished it made him at least indifferent, apathetic, stoic.
But he wasn't. He was angry, jealous and callous.
The picture was a family photo. It was when Shoto was still a baby. When he was still his father's prodigy. Before Shoto had his quirk. That little shit. He took everything from Touya without even having to try. He looked back and then forth again before reaching up and knocking the photo off the mantel.

Later that night Touya came home. It was around midnight. But who cares? He didn't matter now that Enji had his masterpiece. He reached for the door knob but holted when he heard the wails of his mother. He quickly opened the door to a dimly lit scene. It was something you'd find in a Stephen King book. His mother curled in a corner gripping his youngest sibling. Both look tattered but especially Shoto. "Please Enji! He's just a boy! Please give him one more year!!" She screamed, shielding Shoto's face from the figure in front of them.
Enji's hand had flames dancing around it for the entire time but not they charged up. As Enji pulled his hand back he felt himself lose balance.
Touya had hooked his leg, sweeping it and knocking the old greaser on his ass. The teenager was quick to get in front of his mother and brother. "Don't hurt them Father." He said, as stern as he could muster. The light haired boy trembled a bit as his father stood up. "You don't tell me what to do boy. Now move."

"No."

He said it. His chest rose and fell as he awaited his answer. He saw his father's eyes widened and then watched his face contort into some twisted grin. Enji picked the barely 13 year old boy up by his collar. "You think you're so grown huh? You think you're big and tough, right?"
Touya shewed his hand behind him, gesturing for his mother to take the young child out of the room while she had the chance.

Thud.

Touya laid there, waiting for his ears to stop ringing. But as soon as he opened his eyes he saw Enji coming down with hit after hit. He let out some of the most guttural groans and gasps he ever had. Once Enji was done getting his anger out on his personal punching bag he straightened his shirt and wiped the spit, snot, and blood from his hands.
He flicked the light off on his way out, leaving Touya in darkness and silence. The teenager laid down on the floor, letting a hazy sleep consume his mind and body.

Soft pitter came down the hall. Touya woke up to his younger sister over him. She frowned as she cleaned him up. "Are you ok Bubba?" She whispered. Touya just nodded, slowly sitting up. His eyes opened a bit more, watching the 11 year old clean up the bandage wrappers and such.
"Go back to bed yumi. I'm ok." He whispered, pulling her in and kissing her head. She nodded and headed back up the staircase.
————————————————————————

"Will you play with us Bubba?"
Touya looked up, seeing Fuyumi holding little Shoto's ravioli sized hand. A sigh escaped the teen's mouth as he weakly stood. He went to the play room with his younger siblings. They sat, playing some super hero game where Touya was the big bad guy, Fuyumi the princess and Shoto the hero. That's just how they saw him right? The first failure. Might as well be the bad guy right. He got lost in thought and when he snapped out of it he looked up, seeing Shoto pouting. "Tutu, you're not playing." He said.
"Sorry little guy. I got distracted with how good of a hero you are." He said with a soft smile. Shoto's eyes lit up. "Really!!" The young boy soon jumped onto the teen. "Yup. You're just too good." He spoke softly.
————————————————————————
Touya ran out of the house, stumbling. He gagged, spitting out blood. He made his way down the street. He found himself gasping in an alleyway. Clawing at his throat, the boy began to cry. He yelled, pleading, begging for someone to help him. "I can't breathe!! Please ! Someone!" He screamed, gripping the rough dirt. Parts of his body started to light up in a bright blue aura. His neck started hurting more and more as he clawed at it. But now it burnt. he looked down at his hands and saw that he was burning himself. He coughed and gagged and screamed as his body went ablaze.
Soon he couldn't keep up with his quirk. The boy gripped the dirt beneath him as his face, arms, neck, back, legs and chest burned themselves inside and out. He gave up, staring at the wall shielding him from the public.

Kurogiri listened intently. He was a few buildings down. He heard some of the most disturbing things he ever had. The gagging and blood curdling screams. But what was the most terrifying was when it all suddenly stopped.
Soon he found the source. A weak, burnt, tattered boy. He looked almost dead. But he saw the boy's eyes shift up when he arrived. "Don't fret little one. You're safe now. Just rest your eyes." He spoke in a calm, soothing voice.  And touya did what the man said. He could be dangerous but anything was better than what he had just escaped.
————————————————————————
A bright light shined in his eyes and hands prodded at other parts of his body. "He's as good as he'll ever be. We tried stitches and glue but his skin is so damaged all that's gonna work is these staples. He might still need another week for his vocal cords to heal. They're scabbed over from the screaming and heat."

"Thank you." Kurogiri said, helping the teenage boy off the table. His feet were horribly blistered and cut so it hurt him to walk.
————————————————————————
"How are you feeling today my boy?"

"I'm doing better.. Thank you sir." Touya rasped out.

"You don't know me, but my name is All for one. I'm here to help you, if you will help me in return."
A nod came from the teenager.
"We want you to come join us in my league. And in return, I can help you get revenge on your mother and father."
"But Mr All for one sir.. My mother never did anything.?"

"Exactly."

"I'll join."

"Good. Welcome home, Dabi."
