"Yes, I must get going now, Myrddin. It seems that my allies have been able to corner him to his castle Nurmengard." Dumblefore huffed, summoning his watch back to him.
Dumbledore summoned multiple elixirs to him. Placing them neatly around his person. Finished, he began moving towards the door.
"I'm sure Professor Lilpos will be a great help with your O.W.L. studying.
"Wait, sir, I can help!" Myrddin stated quickly, following after Dumbledore.
"No, no, Myrddin, you cannot. Not with Grindelwald." Dumbledore walked out from his classroom.
Myrddin followed after hurriedly, the clicking of his Oxford's following Dumbledore's.
"Sir, believe me, you'll need all the help you can get, sir!" Myrddin stated following after Dumbledore.
Dumbledore came to a stop in the middle of the Transfiguration courtyard. He stared at the sky before looking down at his watch.
"Sir, please." Myrddin stood next to Dumbledore, staring at the same things as he did.
Dumbledore looked to Myrddin before laughing.
"What a humourous lad you are Myrddin. Never have I seen a student so ambitious to help." He stated before he continued walking through the castle.
"However, there are indeed a few holes in your plan." He stated, walking with Myrddin.
"Sir?" Dumbledore smirked, conjuring a paper into his hands.
"Underaged wizards are to only perform magic within a given school setting. As such, I would be not only endangering your life but also your magical career." Dumbledore replied calmly.
Myrddin opened his mouth to reply, but alas, Dumbledore was right. Dumbledore smiled before conjuring another piece of paper, also handing it to Myrddin.
"Unless, of course, I, a professor of Hogwarts, under the express permission of the Headmaster. Can allow a student to perform magic, so long as there is a setting for learning. So." Dumbledore stopped just outside the courtyard with Myrddin.
"I do believe that we will be ok." Dumbledore stated, winking at Myrddin.
Myrddin continued following after Dumbledore. Dumbledore led the pair outside the castle. The two walked the long bridge to Hogwarts entrance. Myrddin, at this point, summoned his bag of wonderment. His robes flared in the wind, followed by Dumbledore's coat.
The pair came to the end of the bridge where Dumbledore came to a sudden halt. He turned to the boy with a frown. Myrddon looked at him, curiosity in his eyes. Dumbledore chuckled, walking towards the boy.
"Alright, Myrddin, I will allow you to follow me. However, you must be absolutely careful with every move you make. It is pinnacle that you listen to every order and command I give. No matter what happens. If I tell you to run, you run. Of I tell you to abandon me to save yourself. You will do so." Dumbledore instructed, holding onto Myrddin's shoulder.
"Do you understand Myrddin?" The seriousness in Dumbledore's tone threw Myrddin off. Never before had he seen a Dumblefore so serious.
"Yes, professor." He replied confidently.
"Good, now, understand this is all purely academic field experience." He stated, looking out to the lands beyond the castle.
"Stick close to me." He stated, holding out his arm.
"Of course, sir." Myrddin stated, taking Dumbledore's arm.
With a boom and flash, the pair quickly apparated.
The two appeared in a mountainous area covered in snow and ice. Myrddin shivered as the area reflected the sinisterness of the man who lived here. The coldness was far more than what Myrddin expected.
"Freezing Area Jinx." Myrddin deduced, holding onto his shivering body.
Dumbledore looked to the shivering boy and laughed quietly. From his neck, he pulled his scarf off. He wrapped it around Myrddin, instantly bringing relief to Myrddin's body.
"Keep that on, or you may find yourself losing a toe or two." He stated, pulling his wand from his coat.
"Definitely not concerning." Myrddin stated, pulling his own wand from his robes.
Dumbledore poked his head out from the rocky wall they both hid behind. He groaned, pulling his wand close. Behind the wall were multiple men, wands prepared for battle.
"Seems Grindelwald put all his forces here. Terrible loser Gellert." He stated, twisting his wand in his hand.
"So what's the plan, professor?" Myrddin questioned, preparing himself for the fight.
"The plan now is to signal the others." He pulled out his pocket watch before looking back to the castle above.
"We will also need to get past the protective barriers around the castle." He stated, looking back to the open area around them.
"I can take care of that." Myrddin stated, putting Dumbledore at a state of surprise.
"I do forget that you are a bit of a troublemaker sometimes, Myrddin." He replied with a smirk.
"Now then." Dumbledore held out his wand. With a quick flick light appeared at the end of his wand.
The light separated from his wand, flying off into the distance towards the other side of the wall.
The men who stood about put their attention to the small light. Infatuated with its bright shimmering white, they moved towards it.
Myrddin watched as they drew closer and closer to the light.
BOOM
The light exploded with brilliant rays of light following it. The men who stood around it quickly fell back by the force of the spell. Where the light acted as a signal, all hell broke loose shortly after.
Myrddin's eyes widened in wonderment. In front of him was a battlefield of light and explosions. Colors flew bright as dark wizards and Dumbledore's friends attacked one another.
Dumbledore grabbed Myrddin before the two quickly apparated once more.
The two of them appeared in front of the large gate and walls. Myrddin looked up to the grand stretch of brick and wood. His eyes caught onto a certain string of magic that surrounded the castle like a web.
He smirked, holding his wand closely.
"You think you could crack this one, Myrddin?" Dumbledore questioned before he looked behind the two. Finding the group of Grindelwald's followers growing suspicious about the two.
"I believe so." Myrddin stated, pulling a stick from the ground.
"I might have to ask you to speed this up, Myrddin. While I entertain our guests." Dumbledore stated, holding his wand in front of him.
"Will do, sir." Myrddin replied, beginning his own magic on the locked castle.
