"Why?" It's the question everyone asks and wants an answer in return, but in a way nobody ever really gets there answer. They get fragments. Or pieces of the answer. Like one might ask a girl with cuts on her wrists why. The girl can answer with a simple I don't know. Or they can make an excuse. Never really answering the person.
