Jay Pov: 🥁"Wow, would you guys look at that They actually look like true partners," Sunghoon said, resting his hands on the entrance bar of the rink.
"If you say that, they wouldn't hesitate to bark at you about how wrong you are," Heeseung said with a laugh.
"Don't worry, sooner or later they will get there, and accept the fact; I hope at least," Jake said.
"We haven't even started our practice yet its like you guys have a head start," Sunoo said, giggling with a smile. Niki secretly looked as his heart swelled at the look of it.
"I agree with that," Seonhui said, wishing for the best of the two, whatever the unwanted hatred is coming from between them. Jungwon was tired of the remarks between him and Jay.
"I mean, we have no choice; once this is all over, I'm heading in the other direction," Jungwon said with no hesitation.
"You must hate me truly, don't you" Jay said it with annoyance.
"Yes, and nothing will change my mind about
that," Jungwon said with a shrug, not seeing the problem with it.Jay rolled his eyes, as he was tired of Jungwon's attitude. Jay was about to walk off, but Jungwon had spoken.
"Where are you going. We need time to practice rather than fool around." Jungwon was confused as to why Jay was walking off.
Jay turns around and walks directly to Jungwon, pissed off.
"How about we do ourselves a favor and mind our own business" Jay said, raising an eyebrow.
"What's your problem" Jungwon said it with an irritating look.
"My problem is your attitude. I'm really trying to take the project seriously, but I think you are stuck on the fact of my behavior—the way I act in school. Just focus on what you love and not worry about me," Jay said, looking directly into Jungwon's eyes, which he thought were more beautiful than most girls, to let him know he was serious.
"I can also tell that you enjoy it so much that if you want me to quit, I can, and that will probably make you happy anyway," Jay said as he was getting upset and pissed off at Jungwon at the same time.
Jay turned his back on Jungwon and skated out the entrance.
Jungwon's eyes softened a bit as he watched Jay walk off, feeling like he had made a mistake. But he didn't want to care about him.
Jay took his skates off, shoved them in his bag, and left the rink.
Jay wondered what he could have done to make Jungwon hate him so much.
Sometimes Jay could relate to Jungwon because he feels that way about himself and that he can't do the right thing.
All because of a stupid girl that he fell in love with and that dumped him over nothing. It seemed to Jay that she didn't really care about him.
I mean, he did see signs the way she was always telling him to buy this and that because he is rich, but he thought it wasn't anything serious since he was blinded by love.
Until one day he told her that his dad was tired of Jay buying stuff for that girl because she didn't treasure him as a person more than his money.
Jay specifically told her that I can't keep buying stuff for you just to make you feel pleased when you don't even acknowledge me much but are quick to ask me for money.
But all three words he got from her were, Let's break up with no questions, as she walked off.
And that's what made him start to fool around due to anger and hurt, as he couldn't accept the fact that she just pushed him to the curve.
No wonder some people hate him and his friends, as they can't stand him messing around when he can't help being heartbroken.
And another problem is his mother, who is in the hospital and is in a critical condition of cancer, almost at her last stage, while his dad looks after her.
Jay does his best to try to be the strong person he thinks he is, so he distracts himself from his problems and his feelings.
Jay has been doing so well so far when he does it. Hopefully it doesn't start crashing down one day.
Jungwon Pov:🎧
Jungwon I'm not trying to be on anyone's side," Sunoo said as he stood next to Jungwon.
"But Jay kind of has a point; let's not focus on the way he acts at school and focus on this," Sunoo said with a slight smile, hugging Jungwon by his shoulders.
"Yeah, I can see Jay is getting frustrated when you include his bad behavior in this situation," Sunghoon said.
"Same as well," Heeseung said, as he understood and knew why Jay acted that way.
Jay, Niki, and Jake are really close, as he told them about his issues and family problems.
"You're right I shouldn't have done that." Jungwon is saddened as he realizes his mistake.
"Don't overthink; you didn't know as well, and it's not your fault," Heeseung said with a smile, patting him on the shoulder. Jungwon slightly smiled.
Jungwon thought he should not bring up Jay's wrongdoings and enjoy working as partners and making a wonderful performance.
Jungwon also thought he should apologize later, once Jay cools down.
Jungwon told the rest to practice, as he was going to go home and try to reflect on what he had done to make the next day better for him and Jay.
