she forgets your birthday - part two (requested)

"Nagyung? What are you doing here?" Saerom asked as Nagyung walked through the door of the practice room.

"I'm here to practice for the comeback, obviously." She said with a little chuckle as she put her things down on the floor.

The girls just stared at her in shock and confusion and Nagyung was quick to pick up on something being wrong.

"What is it? Why are you staring at me that way?"

"You're not supposed to be here today," Jisun spoke.

"What? Why?"

"Because your girlfriend has top priority today. You took the day off to spend it with her. Because it's her birthday." Jiwon reminded her and Nagyung's eyes went wide.

"No, it can't be. I wouldn't forget something like that." She said before pulling out her phone.

But one glimpse at the date on the screen made her begin to kick herself as she realized that it truly was your birthday.

"I can't believe this. I forgot my girlfriend's birthday."

"Well, don't just stay here feeling bad about it. Go home and make it up to her!" Chaeyoung said.

Nagyung grabbed her things and headed back out the door to her car to drive back home to you.

And when she pulled into the driveway and turned off the car, she was running inside to find you.

She saw you sitting on the couch with your head hanging down and she made her way over to you before wordlessly pulling you into her arms.

"I'm so sorry." She said as she held you tight. "I can't believe I forgot your birthday, baby."

"It's okay. It happens."

"No, it is not okay! I always tell you how special your birthday is and I forgot it. I made you feel bad. That's not okay."

You looked into her eyes as she pulled away from the hug.

"I'm truly sorry. I can't believe I forgot. I won't make excuses, you don't deserve that. What you deserve is the world and that's what I'm going to give you today. Get ready to be spoiled by me."

"You don't have to."

"Yes, I do. It's your special day and I'm going to make it the best one yet!" She grinned.

You couldn't help but do the same.

Your sadness faded away.

You weren't upset any longer.

You just felt excited.

Because you know she means it when she says that she's going to make it special and you can't help but wonder what she means by that.

"My girl, I am going to treat you to a special breakfast at your favorite spot. We are going to spend the entire day together. I'm going to make this day so wonderful for you."

"All I want is to be with you."

"You've got me, darling. All day, all to yourself, I am completely yours. Now, go get ready so we can go to breakfast and start celebrating your birthday, sweet girl!" She smiled.

You kissed her lips quickly before you got up and hurried upstairs.

And Nagyung just smiled to herself as she swore that she'd make this the best day ever for you.
