Oh how I dread school. I ended up making it on time, luckily with out getting a speeding ticket! I ran to my locker quickly, trying to spot any of my friends. No luck. So i threw my chemistry book in my locker and bolted to my orchestra class.
I caught up with a few friends on the way, Reah and Erika. Reah Salanger was your typical brains AND beauty. She had long, shiny brown hair and deep chocolate brown eyes. She was such a sweetheart and one of my very best friends. Erika Garcia on the other hands was very sporty, but still smart and pretty. She had short, curly hair, that was so black, it looked blue in the sun. I envied her for her long, thick eyelashes. Trust me when i say, her eyes melted every guys' heart. She was also one of my very best friends. They were both violinists and I, a violist, so we had the same first period.
"Oh my gosh guys guess what!!" I exclaimed
"What is it this time Emm?" Erika said, rolling her eyes
"I had a weird, but cute dream last night. Kristopher Lavery had kissed me!"
"Aww haha that is cute, but you do realize it was just a dream right?" Even though it's the truth, Reah's words had pierced through me, I was a little crushed.
All I could say was, "Easy for you to just say Reah, you HAVE a boyfriend.."
"BUT, BUT..."
"Reah, Emmy just shut up and lets get to class!"
As soon as we got into class, we immediately started unpacking. I love being in orchestra and I love playing the viola, but today I just wasn't feeling it. The orchestra teacher, Mr. Gonzalez, handed out new music. As soon as I saw the title of the song I wanted to laugh. It was Once Upon A Dream, the waltz from Sleeping Beauty. Wow great just my luck, it was complete irony. I began to sing the song in my head *I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream. I know you the gleam in your -* My thoughts were cut short when Mr. Gonzalez called my name.
"Earth to Emmy! Your eyes have completely glazed over...are you..are you drooling?"
"Umm n-n-no..."
"Well then pick up your instrument and start playing!"
I can already tell its going to be a VERY long day.
