We walked up to the airport and found that it was empty with abandoned luggage and no lights were on. I take out my old AirPods that barely work now considering they're older than me; and listen to my playlist (the song at the top) and hand the better working headphone to Ash. "What do we do now?" Ash said in a hushed voice. "We search for someway to travel across an ocean, we have to get back to America to find Mike." We started to walk around and looked out a window to a lit up plane. "I am preeeetty sure that shouldn't be running." Ash said as she walked over to a door and opened it and started walking outside. "Why would you go towards it?" I said in a whisper-yell.
I chased after Ash and pulled her back. "We need to think of a plan Ash!" She shook her arm free from my hand and replied "Or, we could go to it and get inside and I could get us the hell out of here?" Ash is a pilot in training, but she has only learned the basics, this was definitely not a good idea.
Ash starts walking towards the plane again and I hesitantly follow in her footsteps. I pulled my little knife out of my pocket and carefully unfold it as she opens the door carefully and—
