When the cops arrived they had found a skinned head in the ditch and with body. After that day we moved to Texas with my mom for a couple of months. Our cafe had to be shut down for a while. A couple months later we received a letter from the cops telling us that it was safe to come back but they advised us to get some security cameras.
We moved back, but it felt different, it had felt like somebody was watching me. I just shrugged it off. In the car we had noticed they blocked off the road. When we were in bed Chris said "I remember the day we first met and when we first kissed." " Yeah the bathroom stalls." I said sarcastically.
We went to work and this one guy came in with a black hoodie and said "did you hear about the murder a couple of months ago?" As he slowly grinned "yeah..." as I said as I fake laughed.
