Lila's POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I glared at my opponent, who took the first swing at me. He was attempting to go for a right jab to my side. I dodged his fist and swung my coiled fist at his jawline. If only this boy wasn't so attractive, pity to ruin such a handsome face. He came after me again; right, left, right, left, he threw hooks rapidly. I skated away from the first three but the last one got me. As he took his time to throw an uppercut I swung my fists in rapid succession, one to his left temple and the other into his abdomen.
"Go Angel! Angel! Angel! Angel!" the crowd chanted...well most of them...
"Beast! Beast!" was also being shouted from a small section of the onlookers.
I tuned out everything around me but the fight once again. Beast came forth and struck me under the ribs again. I threw back, responding to his challenge. I went in for a head shot and a sly jab to his ribs. He dodged my head shot but winced slightly as my fist met his ribs while he was busy blocking his head. I tried again, upper-cutting him in the chin, knocking his head back. He spat out some blood and ran at me.
Now, I've never been one to back down, and i wouldn't start now, but i'll admit having a guy, presumably on steroids, who is over 6' run at you is scary.
My thoughts were cut off as i attempted to dodge his tackle. I moved to late and he grabbed at my left side pulling me down, my back to the ground. He went to get on top of me, I had to move. I threw a fist at his eye socket and another to his cheekbone, kicking his thigh and shin. I wouldn't resort to a low blow.
He was thrown off me when i socked him once more in the nose, sadly he had already gotten a few hits to my ribs and one to my cheekbone while i was busy attacking, rather than blocking. I had to win!
I jumped up, wincing quickly at the pain in my ribs before returning my face to a neutral expression. He smirked, even with blood running from his nose he was menacing. I spat to the side, some blood apparent in my spit. Great, i thought sarcastically.
Just then he came after me again throwing his fists into my sides, me blocking them with little success. I could faintly hear Brian calling out to me.
"Angel Cakes!" I heard from my father-like figure.
"C'mon sis!" I heard Mark shout in anger.
I had to win, if not for me, for them. I came back swinging with all my might, not blocking Beast's head shot. With my vision spotty I tackled him down to the mat. I pinned his legs with my hips, restraining his movement. I punched him rapidly in the face, ignoring his constant jabs to my ribs and chest. For buggers sake it hurt when he punched me in the chest, like come on man, really? I powered through, shaking it off and, taking a jab at his gut and throwing a fist at his chest, winding him. I went back to my head shots, trying to knock him unconscious. I was so in my zone i didn't see his fist untill it was implanted in my right temple, i heard ringing in my ears and my vision was practically black. I threw punches into the void since my sight was pretty well gone. I heard a grunt and a heavy weight fell upon me. I felt blood rushing to my head and gushing from my nose. I felt light, dizzy, but weightless, and then nothing...
