Sarah and Jack's relationship continued to grow stronger. They spent their days exploring the city, laughing and joking together, and their nights playing music and singing.

But one day, Sarah received a phone call that changed everything. Her mother had passed away after a long illness.

Sarah was devastated. She felt like her whole world had been turned upside down. Jack did his best to comfort her, holding her as she cried and listening as she talked about her mother.

But as the days turned into weeks, Sarah found herself feeling more and more lost. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing, that she was meant to be doing something more with her life.

One day, as they were walking through the park, Sarah turned to Jack. "I need to go home," she said. "I need to be with my family."

Jack looked at her, his eyes filling with sadness. "I understand," he said. "But what about us?"

Sarah felt tears prick at the corners of her eyes. "I don't know," she said. "I just need to figure things out."

Jack nodded, but Sarah could tell that he was hurt. She didn't know what to do. She loved Jack, but she also felt like she needed to be with her family.

As she packed her bags and prepared to leave the city, Sarah couldn't shake the feeling that she was making a mistake. She didn't want to lose Jack, but she also didn't know how to stay.

On the day she was set to leave, Jack came to see her off at the train station. They hugged tightly, tears streaming down their faces.

"I love you," Jack said. "Don't forget that."

Sarah held onto him tightly, her heart breaking. "I won't," she said. "I love you too."

As the train pulled away, Sarah felt like a part of her was being left behind. She didn't know what the future held, but she knew that she would never forget Jack and the love they had shared.
