estella had spent the day leading away the horde from the tower. she had been covered in walker guts and had to walk through the horde, and then had to lead it away with loud music playing on a big boombox on a carriage carried by two horses. she was walking until it was dark, alongside daryl and lydia. she had her crossbow in her hand, ready and alert, just like she had been all day. she had been by lydia's side for most of it, making sure she was okay. she knew lydia probably wouldn't be feeling the best after just losing her mom and then having to walk around wearing her mask.

on the way through the horde, they'd lost beatrice. estella didn't really care much for beatrice. she wasn't somebody that she had ever really spoken to, but it was still sad, because she had friends and people that cared about her. just because estella didn't think much of her death, didn't mean that other people didn't.

the music was also shit. estella wished they could use some of her favourite music for once. she was always a big fan of musicals, so if they could play 'defying gravity' or something like that, she'd be a whole lot happier. but instead, they were stuck with some weird, jerry like music. he somehow knew all the words and even though thousands of walkers were just behind him, still enjoyed himself and danced to it.

"they're coming! they're coming!" lydia yelled, making them all turn to see some whisperers using walkers as shields.

"speed up, go!" daryl yelled as they all tried to shoot at the whisperers, but instead, were all hitting the walkers in front.

"protect the horses!" carol ordered as estella ran around and shot a whisperer in the head that came out of the trees.

the music no longer mattered as estella began using her crossbow to shoot at the whisperers coming through the forest. she managed to kill five. she didn't hit the head every time, though, as she was in a hurry to rid of them all. she managed to hit three in the head, and the other two were in their hearts.

suddenly, when they thought it couldn't get any worse, a wheel came off the wagon, and the horses began to loudly neigh. daryl yelled for everyone to move away. estella hated leaving horses to die, but she knew she had no other choice. she couldn't stay and save them, or else she'd die, so she had to follow the others.

it was pouring down with heavy rain, and they managed to get in the woods and next to the trees so hide. the whisperers were on top of the wagon and smashing up the boombox to make the music stop. daryl was radioing out to gabriel.

"gabriel, we lost the wagon. you got walkers comin' right back at ya." daryl spoke into the radio.

"they should've evacuated by now." luke said, from where he sat in the long line of people against a log. estella didn't want to sit, though. instead, she just stood up next to daryl.
