Chapter 3: drama

Alex's POV
The next day we all walked into school together and went to our lockers. Since Shawn had a locker next to mine we walked together. Clarrissa came up to Shawn's locker and started flirting with him. Sarah and the guys came up to our locker and they saw them flirting. I looked at them and smiled and I hugged Sarah again and said "I'm so happy you're back"
Sarah smiled and said "I am too! I wish you hadn't gotten hurt though.! That means we can't cheer together for a while!"
"It's not that big of a deal I'm fine and it's whatever." I said rolling my eyes.
Logan looked at me and said "It is a big deal! Clarrissa did that on purpose and you could have gotten hurt worse.!"
I smiled at Logan saying "you're right but I didn't so we should let it go ok.?"
Logan looked at me and said "fine only because you say you want to"
The bell rang and we all headed off to first hour. I walked into Spanish and sat in my seat when Shawn walked in and sat by me. He looked at me and asked "do you like Logan.? It looked like it in the hall."
I shrugged while saying "I don't know he's cute but I think we're better as friends. But if he asked me out I wouldn't be rude and so no though"
Shawn smirked and said "I think he likes you. I think you should give him a chance. But it's you're choice it is you're life."
I looked at him and said "yeah it is my life. Not to be rude but if I don't like him I'm not going to lead him on like a b*tch. What if I end up liking someone else and I went with you're advice and gave Logan a chance and I hurt his feelings really badly.? I can't do that, so yeah maybe I'll go on a date with him but I'm not leading him on."
Then the teacher came in and started class. I ignored Shawn for the rest of the hour. I mean yeah I felt bad but I can't hurt Logan like that.

~lunch time~
I walked to my locker and put my stuff away. I started walking and Logan came up to me and said "can we talk...?"
I smiled at him and said "yeah of course!"
He smiled then said "ok it's fine if you say no but I was wondering if you would like to go out with me this weekend..?"
I looked at him in shock then smiled and said "look I would love to go out with you! I'm going give you a chance but I want you to know I don't like you like that but I might learn to...please don't hate me..!"
He looked at me and smiled "Alex! You're fine! I'm happy you're giving me and chance. I could never hate you and it's just one date! I'm not totally into you either I just think I like you that doesn't mean I do ok.? I'm not trying to be mean but I just want to see if we would be good together or better as friends."
I smiled and said "ok let's go to lunch now. I'll go out with you this weekend."
Logan smiled and we walked the rest of the day into the cafeteria. When we get our lunch and go sit at the table Sarah and the guys were there. Sarah smiled at me as I sat next to her and we started talking about anything and everything until Clarrissa and her minions can over.
Crystal looked at me a smirked while saying "is you're one and only friend finally back..?" You must be so happy!!"
I smirked right back and said "I am thank you!" I try not to let them get to me because that's what they want.
Clarrissa looked over and said "you look really bad today Sarah did you let you're mom dress you again.? Or did you dress yourself a little better than usual.?"
Sarah looked at her and said "look I know you're usually mean to Alex and I but can you please stop.? Or at least stop for the rest of the month.? My grandmas about to die and Alex and I love my grandma so her dying is affecting both of us..so please just leave us alone for now ok..?"
Amber looked at Sarah and laughed "you seriously think we care that you're grandmas dying.? You're mom could be dying for all we cared. You and Alex are actually the ones that deserve to die.."
I grabbed Sarah's hand and pulled her into to the bathroom and locked the door.
I look at her sadly saying "Sara-Bear I'm so sorry! Why didn't you tell me yesterday when you came home! I love her so much Sarah and she's not even my grandma so I don't know what you're going through but just know that I'm always her for you."
"Alex I love you so much! Thank you for being here with me. It also sucks because I like Dylan but I think he likes Tahlia!" Sarah said sadly but smiling at me.
I look at her and said "Sarah I love you but you're so stupid! Yesterday he asked me about you! Yesterday when you got home you two were cuddling! It is so obvious he likes you!"
She smiled and said "really?!? I hope he asks me out soon then! I would definitely say yes!"
I laughed and said "come on let's get ready for our last class of the day! Then cheer practice where I can sit on the bench..."
Sarah looked at me sadly and followed me to my locker and then we went to hers. After we left her locker we seen the guys and Dylan came a hugged Sarah! The rest of us just smiled at them, happy they finally figured it out.
