The problem and the preparation

Anita had come up with more than a hundred reasons to complain about for being in a fantastic world in a beautiful mansion. As I sat with her and Jenai at a massive wood table drinking herbal tea and eating moonbeam cookies, Anita refused to eat a thing, but she cautiously sipped her tea. As I nibbled a cookie, Morpheus spoke. "So you girls have come to see Alyssa I assume?" He said, folding his hands on his lap, his eyebrows furrowing slightly. Jenai and I squirmed. I could feel the tenseness. "Um, well, is she here?" Jenai asked quietly. She was still reading Unhinged, she didn't know what was yet to come. "She hasn't finished them." I say quietly. So Morpheus pulls me aside. "Listen, I don't know why you've come here, but if you've read Ensnared you know how it supposedly ended." He starts, looking clearly stressed. I nod, and he continues. "The ending Alyssa wrote was not possible to predict." He says. I realize that this is true. The book takes place in 2015, it would be impossible to predict the outcome as of now. Morpheus presses his forehead to the wall. "Well, today is the day she is wedding Jebadiah." Something blows up inside me. While reading the books, I never liked Jeb. He seemed so...plain. So this was terrible. "What?!" I say, catching Morpheus'es attention. "Yes. But I swore on my life magic not to interfere." He said. Suddenly, I had a brilliant idea. "Let's bomb the wedding." I said evilly. "NO!" Screamed Jenai. She loved Jeb. Anita shrugged. "If it'll ruin this book, I'm good." She said. And the plan was formed.
