"You racing tonight?" Mia, your older sister asked as you drove down the all too familiar entrance to the street races. You glanced at her, pulling into a parking spot, shutting the engine off. "Maybe, I'll see." She nodded, following suit as you got out of the car. "Hey (Y/N)." You turned your head to the voice calling your name, a small smile played on your lips. "Hey Sasha." You greeted, walking over to her instantly leaning against her car and talking with her, another girl by the name of Maria came up to you.

The familiar roar of the engine filled your ears as the car pulled up a few feet away, right in front of you. Letty got out of the car, closing the door to make her presence known as her eyes instantly landed on her girlfriend. "I smell skanks. Why don't you girls pack it up before I leave tread marks on your face?" Letty said walking over to you, your attention shifting. You watched the two girls disburse in an instant, you titled your head in her direction. "Letty, I just talking." "Yeah, whatever." You smirked lightly, shaking your head at her actions as you watched her walk past you and towards Mia.

"You racing tonight little T?" Vince asked you, you rolled your eyes at the nickname he'd give you years back. "Think I will, you?" He shook his head, in a no manner. You watched Sasha come up to you and Vince, sharing a look you acknowledge the woman. "You racing tonight pretty girl?" She beamed, the flirtatious vibe was hard to miss. "Thinking bout it." You murmured, watching Vince get up and leaving to check something under the hood of the car. "Well if you do, I'll be cheering you on." She said, her hand coming out to place it on your shoulder.

Letty watched the flirtatious banter a few feet away from her, a sour scoff sat on her face. She hated when these wanna be racer bimbos threw themselves at you, looking at the youngest Toretto like if she was a piece of meat. "You know she's just entertaining that shit. They ain't got nothing on you." Leon spoke from behind, popping a handful of trail mix into his mouth. Letty looked back, eyebrow raised at his words. Taking the package of food from his hand she poured some for herself, chewing on it slowly. She knew that they didn't have shit on her, but it still scared her, she was a bit older than you but not by much; and the fact that you would probably fancy someone around your age, Letty didn't know what's she do.

You were in your freshman year of college when you and Letty got together, having been together for a little over three years now. Before any of that you knew her just as much as anyone else, seeing as Dom and Mia were her friends with her & her just living down the street added to it. So she wasn't that much of a stranger to you. A couple months after you two made it official, you'd have to start making it know to the rest of the people that she was yours and you were her's, especially at car races and shows. Yet it seems like three years wasn't an obvious enough hint to those who kept creeping up around you.

"Alright who's racing?" Dom, your older brothers voice cut through your small group of family. You brushed past Sasha and walked up to your brother, everyone else followed suit. "Remember what I told you, don't blow it too earlier." Dom said as he bent down, talking to you through your open window. "I know, I know." You figured with all the years you'd been racing, he'd stop reminding you what to do. Letty was next to come up through your open window, her hands falling onto the door. "Good luck." You quickly planted a kiss to her cheek and drove down to the starting line.

Pushing the red button on your steering wheel, you felt the car jerk back and go at an incomparable speed, instantly crossing the finish line cheers erupted around you. You parked the car in a spot, feeling people instantly swarm you, but you only wanted one person. "Your my trophy." You said as you picked up Letty by her waist, hosting her up off the ground a bit. You watched a small smile break out on her face, putting her back down you thanked the people who congratulated you. "Nice racing out there (Y/N)." Sasha & Maria commented, you simply smiled and nodded your head at the two desperate women.
