You sighed as you brushed another stray hair behind your ear. Yeah, getting set up by your friends for this date wasn't really going so well. You fidgeted under the other people dining's gazes as you looked down at your phone. Take the embarrassment by standing up and leaving or continue to sit here until your date arrived? You thought It over and just as you reached down to grab your purse you saw someone sit down in the seat across from you. You looked up to be met with an unfamiliar man. He was extremely handsome, he had striking blue eyes, and messy blonde hair. He smiled,
"Sorry I'm so late babe. The traffic was terrible."

Your face was filled with confusion as he leaned closer towards you,
"I'm Tej. Just go with it, Whoever didn't bother to show up is a dumbass, because who's stupid enough to stand up a pretty girl like yourself?"

He smiled charmingly as your cheeks flushed. You leaned forward and pressed your lips to his cheek,
"Thank you."

You sat back in your seat and opened up your menu to order. You looked up at him and cocked an eyebrow as he sat there with a shocked look,
"Well you're late enough, aren't you going to order?"

Tej grinned and laughed before looking down at his menu.

You walked arm in arm out of the restaurant as you laughed at his story. You looked up at Brian and smiled,
"Thank you for saving me from embarrassment."

Tej shook his head,
"Whoever your date was is a douchebag for standing you up. Besides I got to have dinner with a beautiful girl, so it was really a win."

You blushed,
"Everyone in there thought I scored someone as hot as you as a date, so I think it worked out pretty well for the both of us."

He smiled at you as he walked you to his car. You grinned at the sight of his car as you neared it,
"Nissan skyline R34 GT-R."

Tej gave you a look,
"You know cars too? What's next?"

You smirked before you pulled your keys out from your purse. You unlocked your car as you saw the headlights flash on. You saw his eyes widened as he laughed,
"No way. You've got a Mazda R7-X?"

"She's my pride and joy." You stated as you both stood there looking your cars in admiration.

You sighed,
"It's getting late, I better head home."

He cleared his throat,
"I had a great time tonight, say would you like to go out another time? Like a proper date, I won't be late I promise."

You grinned as you pulled a pen from your purse and grabbed his arm and wrote your number. He looked down at your writing as you pressed a kiss to his cheek. He looked up at you in shock as you walked towards your car,
"Call me. I'm looking forward to it."
