you were an experienced astronaut, you've made a few missions to the ISS and to the moon which really changed your perspective of life. everything was fine until Nasa called you up to partake in a mission to mars. no one has ever done it before leaving you in anxious thoughts.
"you can either go down as one of the most important people in history or you can watch someone else become the most important person in history."
you finally gave in. you had to train for a few months which was no biggie for you. the only problem was the thought of never returning, you kept on pushing this thought away until it was the day of the launch.
