The moon cast an eerie glow over the Night Raven College, casting a mysterious vibe across the ancient tomes that lined the shelves. The scent of aged parchment and the faint whisper of turning pages filled the air, lending an air of mystery and enchantment to the room.
In the heart of the library stood the headmage of Night Raven College, Crowley, his piercing gaze fixed upon you, as he interrogated you with a mix of curiosity and concern. His tall, imposing figure was draped in a flowing robe adorned with intricate black feathers and ornaments, a testament to his mastery of magic.
You sat on a chair, eyes trailing over Crowley, expression calm and composed. You observed him carefully, analyzing his every word and gesture.
As Crowley's questions pierced through the silence. His voice, deep and commanding, resonated within the library's hallowed halls, echoing the weight of the moment.
"(Y/n)," Crowley's voice was firm, yet tinged with a hint of authority. "I need to understand how you came to be in Twisted Wonderland. Your sudden arrival has left us with more questions than answers."
Instead of answering the older person, the girl only lowered her head.
"Young one, can you perhaps try to remember, something?" Crowley ask, his voice was kind of soft in manner as he try to ask the question.
You met Crowley's gaze, your eyes filled with a mixture of apprehension and determination. It was clear that he sought the truth, and you were equally eager to unravel the mystery of your arrival.
"I wish I could provide more answers, sir," you replied, your voice laced with sincerity. "But my memories before waking up in the coffin room are nothing but fragments. It's as if they were whisked away, leaving me with nothing but confusion."
Crowley's expression softened, his eyes searching yours for any sign of recognition or deception. He understood the frustration of grappling with the unknown, the longing to piece together the fragments of one's past.
Just as he was about to speak, a thought seemed to strike him, his eyes widening with a glimmer of realization. "Y/n, do you possess any personal belongings that could shed light on your background? Perhaps an item that holds sentimental value? "
Something flickered within you as you recalled a delicate locket that had been clasped around your neck. It was a cherished possession, a link to a past he is trying to uncover.
"I don't have any" you responded, your voice tinged with sadness.
The headmage only nodded his head in understanding, before turning around, maybe thinking for a way. As he turned around, (Y/n)'s expression turn from anxious to relaxed. She narrowed her eyes at Crowley as she clutch the locket in her neck.
"...I don't feel bad lying at a stranger, how can I trust a new face—especially a stranger with that face" she thought as she let go of the locket.
Finally done thinking, Crowley once again face the girl who is looking at him with anticipation "This is concerning. I can't just let someone who can't use magic stay at school. However, as an educator, I can't just toss a penniless teenager who has no means of contacting their guardians out on the street. For I am gracious. Hmmmm... I know!" As the weight of Crowley's words settled upon you, a surge of relief coursed through your veins.
"Atleast I won't be homeless..."
Moved by your plight and armed with newfound knowledge, Crowley made a decision that would shape your destiny—for better or for worst "(Y/n), I believe you deserve a chance to find your way back home. Until then, I have an idea. There is an unused building nestled within the school grounds, a forgotten dormitory that has remained vacant for years. I will grant you permission to reside there, until I find a way back for you"
Unknown to you, the forgotten dormitory would become your sanctuary, a place where you would embark on a journey of self-discovery and unravel the enigmatic tapestry of Twisted Wonderland.
"We had better be on our way. Let's head to the dormitory. It may be a bit old, but there is a certain charm to it." With a nod of gratitude, you rose from the chair, your footsteps echoing softly as you followed Crowley through the winding corridors of Night Raven College. The air was heavy with anticipation, each step bringing you closer to the forgotten dormitory that would become your haven.
As you two walk, with Crowley leading the way. You slowed down a bit and let him walk a distance before opening the locket fastened in you neck.
A single (f/c) butterfly flew out. You stretch out your hand and let it land on your index finger. "Hear my command, find...." then a voice interrupted "Miss, please don't lag behind, you might get lost" it was Crowley, who stop a few meters away from me.
(Y/n) scratch the back of her neck "Sorry this cute butterfly suddenly approach me" the said butterfly fly out the window and into the distance. (Y/n) run to Crowley and their walk begun again.
The girl started a small talk with the headmage to try and get to know him more. Well, if she can't get out of here anytime soon, why not find people that can entertain her?
Crowley and her exchange word and word along the way, and you can say the older male was very engross in the topic. Who would have thought this young girl who appeared out of nowhere is very well versed in politics? This intrigued the man more. The headmage was very into the topic that he didn't notice how the left eye of the girl changed colored from (e/c) to red with a butterfly imprint in it.
While (Y/n) on the other hand, she's quite now looking forward to her future adventures in this schools.
