Since the day of Alex and Kelly's wedding💍💍, Brainy came back to 2021 with Winn for the wedding And to be Nia Nal's forever❤️.
He promised to devote his life to Her! that's by helping her interpret her dreams🌀✨in any way possible. Nia loves❤️Brainy for that.
they have been an official couple and are now living together...

*5 months later*
Time has gone by fast, Brainy and Nia spent the last 5 months looking for answers everywhere around the world🌎! Including the Fortress of Solitude database of Understanding Dream Interpretation for Naltorians🌀as the "Dreamer" still no luck. even their friends help out too.
but still nothing. Also, Maeve helped by sending Nia books📚on Dream🌀interpretation✨that would be helpful to her. even that wasn't enough😅. She was starting to lose hope thinking💭about giving up. But Brainy wasn't about to give up that easily! If it meant that Nia Nal could understand her dreams✨to be the amazing Hero that she was always destined to be! Then he would gladly do anything to make that come true💫.

*On a Saturday morning*
*9:35 a.m.*
*Nia's POV*
Brainy was in the kitchen making breakfast and I was reading some books📖📚on dream🌀interpretation✨that my Sister sent me just
last week. But still seemed like a dead end to me. Today, I'm still struggling to understand what my dreams mean. I sighed with frustration closing the books loudly, pushing them aside, and placed my hands over my face not being able to get this right. I looked up and saw the look on Brainy's face... He must have sensed my frustration as I heard him say to me. "I sense your frustration. Nia Nal," Brainy said stating the obvious looking over at me and sensing my frustration. Just as I knew he would and said back to him. "Well, I am. Brainy. It's been months now and I still don't understand anything of this... nothing is helping. How can I possibly be the hero I want to be? If I don't know much about my powers," I said frustrated about my powers.

*Brainy's POV*
I sighed and handed Nia her breakfast plate with my famous spinach pancakes🥞 which she just thinks I'm amazing at! And absolutely adores me for it. Also, I think it's time I tell her what I've been working on over the last 5 months to help her Interpret her dreams✨better. But it's not 100% ready yet😅. I just hope she'll understand that. "Nia, I know you're struggling with your dream interpretation. over the last 5 months with you, I have devoted my life to helping you. And I believe I've done it! I have invented a device that could help you understand your dreams🌀✨better through your subconscious. And the reason why I didn't tell you is because it's not entirely ready yet. only 58% complete." I said stating the facts of my calculations of the device I recently invented not ready to be used.

Nia was speechless as she had no idea that Brainy would do this for Her. Well, what she expected?😅 He did say he would devote his life to her when he came back to her. And that's by helping her interpret her dreams🌀✨. "Well, that's good at least. How long until It's ready?" Nia asked softly. She Hoped he could speed up the process of his device soon. Brainy sighed sadly. "It's hard to say, Nia. By my calculations, it will take 6 weeks until it's fully complete." Brainy answered softly adding the numbers in his brain. Nia's eyes widened in shock as she said. "6 WEEKS?! I can't wait that long!!!" She shouted out to him not able to wait that long... "Brainy, I've been having Nightmares👁‍🗨every night Unable to interpret them. And I'm just so tired of it." Nia said sadly with exhaustion in her eyes.

Brainy saw the look in Nia's eyes as he had a feeling she would react this way. And saw the fear of not being able to interpret her dreams✨. Especially her nightmares👁‍🗨... Almost every🌃night he would hear Nia talking and screaming in her sleep and have to wake her up While comforting her lovely💗. Of course, he wanted help to make the nightmares stop somehow... but that's something he couldn't do. All Brainy can do is comfort her through it. He knew it would be dangerous if she were to use the device now. And couldn't risk it! Brainy didn't want to lose her. She means everything to him! Nia is his whole world, She is his home, and His reason for living! Besides he even risked the entire future just to be with Her. Because without her... He doesn't know what he'll do but couldn't possibly risk it. As much as he wanted to speed up the process of the Dream subconscious helmet device. he can't. it's too dangerous for an untested device to be used.

"Nia, I know. Do you think that I don't want to rush this? Well, I do. if I were to rush this or you were to use the device now. It would be too dangerous... there's a 40/50% chance this will cause you brain🧠damage💥Or you'll be trapped in the Dream🌀realm✨forever❤️! I can't let that happen to you! I can't lose you. Nia Nal, I love❤️you so much and you're my whole🌎world... Because Without you I don't know what I'd do..." Brainy shouted out in tears💦. Nia saw him pacing back and forth around the kitchen while hyperventilating. She knew that he loved❤️her with his whole heart💚but nothing like this. He truly loves her! This proves it...

Nia ran up to Brainy and kissed him on the lips to calm him down And it worked! He stopped pacing at that moment when he felt her lips on his. He loved❤️it! To feel this close to her. Nia felt him kiss her back. She felt his warmth as he felt hers too. That's when she knew he had completely calmed down. Nia broke the kiss as she pulled away looking into his bright, brilliant✨eyes, and he just stared into her beautiful chocolate-brown eyes👁️. He was speechless. luckily, Nia knew what to say. "Brainy, it's ok. I won't do it or use it till it's done. I promise you that." Nia said softly as she placed her hand on his green cheek making a promise to him. But she may end up having to break that promise😔. Brainy smiled as he wiped his tears away. "Thank you Nia Nal," he said softly.

*Nia's POV*
the rest of the day was just the same as any other day, Brainy got called to the DEO last minute leaving me to do my article at home that Kara assigned me to do Yesterday. now that she's the Editor-in-chief since she took the job when Miss Grant took over 2 months ago...
I began working on it and typed fast because it's due on Monday! So I had to get a head start! An hour later, I published it! Besides I just hope Brainy gets home soon. I hate to have nightmares again tonight without him by my side...

*At Night*
*7:00 p.m.*
I watched the sunset 🌆on my balcony while sipping the tea I made to calm my mind and relax. It began to get dark out as I wondered if Brainy would be home soon and I was worried about him. I knew he was needed at the DEO and is working hard with that big brain of his.
I sighed realizing I'll have to deal with her nightmares👁‍🗨on her own tonight. And hoping that he'll be here to wake me up...

*Time skipped to 10:30 p.m.🕥*
*Nia's POV*
I've got into my pajamas wearing a comfy, cozy blue top that said "Sweet Dreams✨" and blue pj pants that had stars🌟, constellations, and shooting stars💫💫💫. I thought if I wore this it could be a possibility of me having good dreams tonight. And I even bought a dream catcher just in case to help with my nightmares. I lay in bed closed my eyes drifting off to sleep trying to dream✨happy ones and not the bad ones. But I immediately started having nightmares... as I moved around and mumbled in my sleep. I gasped awake with fear in my eyes looking around the room and Brainy wasn't home yet. that's when I decided to take matters into my own hands to stop these nightmares once and for all! I spoke to myself out loud and said. That's it! I can't take it anymore." I said out loud getting out of bed. I began flashbacking✨to what Brainy said about it being too dangerous if I used his device on myself. of course, I knew the dangers of doing this and I would be breaking my promise to Brainy. But I just couldn't take it anymore! It was too much for me to handle alone and I had to do something to make these nightmares stop... or to understand them. "I'm so sorry, Brainy. Please forgive me for what I'm about to do...
I have to do this! I just can't keep living like this anymore." I thought to myself as I stood up going out of our bedroom and into the guest bedroom. That has now been turned into Brainy's workshop since he moved in and I never really used this room when Yvette moved out last year. So, that makes it perfect! I searched🔎where Brainy had the device he was talking about earlier... Until I found it! "There it is," I said to myself as it looked like a metal cap to me. But it looked comfortable... I saw it was hooked up on a stand with some wires out of it.

Nia thought long and hard about it and knew this was very dangerous and reckless.
But she would rather try anything than do nothing...
