A way back home

~{Chapter 4}~*this chapter is about when Brainy, Kara, and the others are waiting for Maeve at the DEO to help them get Nia out of the dream🌀realm✨and to wake her up. I hope you like it, enjoy it!*

*The next day*
*10:45 a.m.*
Nia was still trapped in the dream realm in a REM sleep state and the rest of the team waited for Maeve to get here. They hoped that she knew how to get Nia out of the dream realm.

*Moments later*
Maeve arrived at the DEO and made her way to the med bay while running out of breath. "Alright, I'm here! Sorry, it took so long. My flight was delayed at first and I..." She paused and saw her sister in a deep dream state. Maeve was frozen🥶in fear and speechless😨... she gasped walked up to see Nia up close and said. "Oh my gosh!" she shouted in shock worriedly. "How long has she been like this?" Maeve asked worriedly as she looked at Kara and the others. Everyone in the room was silent. "Kara, when you told me over the phone what happened... I just assumed She would be passed out. But I didn't think it would be this bad!" Maeve said fearing the worst for her sister. Kara answered. "Well, ever since last night when Brainy brought her... she's been like this for hours," she said sadly turning to Brainy. he nodded. Maeve looked at Brainy when Kara said that as she was glad that Nia had someone like that in these types of situations. She nodded and replied.
"I see. Well, Thank you Brainy for doing that for her. My sister is very lucky to have you," Maeve said grateful that Nia has Brainy.

"Of course, Maeve. I love Nia, and I'm happy to help her in any way I can..." Brainy said happily as He thought about how much he loved ❤️Nia. Then thinks back to her being trapped in the dream realm. "I just hope we'll be able to get her out of the dream realm somehow..." he said sadly looking at Nia. Maeve smiled seeing how much he loved and cared for her sister. "Well, actually Brainy. you're in luck... I was able to find a solution to getting Nia out of the dream realm." Maeve said as she took out one of her books📚from her bag that had Naltorian language written on the cover. She placed it on a table and they all gathered around her... Then, opened it up turning from page to page, and found the right page. they were all relieved and smiling brightly. Especially, Brainy.

She found the right page and read it out loud! "here, it says: when "the dreamer🌀" does something reckless or dangerous to interpret her dreams✨with an untested device. It will result in her being trapped in the dream world "FOREVER" for making a terrible mistake!" Maeve paused as she read that last sentence of the page📖Out loud. they all gasped out loud and were worried about Nia. If they'll ever get her back... And will be like this forever!😰

But luckily, there was more information on the next page. Brainy sighed as he said... "There has to be some way to get her out and wake up somehow," Brainy said determinedly. "there is. On the next page, it says: there are 2 ways to get her out of the dream realm." Maeve said letting Brainy know that there was another way to get Nia to wake up. Brainy was relieved to hear that.

"Once the Dreamer accepts the consequence of their actions. A dream portal will open up to them and she will wake up back in her physical body. But it only remains open for 30 seconds... This means we have to create a small dream portal in order to allow Nia to wake up," Maeve explained. They all nodded in understanding. Brainy suggested. "Then let's do that," he said. So Brainy and Lena began working on making a device in order for Nia to see it in the dream realm and wake up in her body. that's exactly what they planned on doing!

*Meanwhile Nia is still trapped inside the dream realm... After the portal vanished leaving her hopeless she believed that her friends would find a way to bring her back. and she was right!*
Nia lay against a tree on the ground waiting for a miracle to happen. But the opposite of a miracle was lurking in the shadows🖤as she heard a screeching🗣of a creature. And that's when a nightmare monster appeared in front of her! Nia gasped as she stood up and charged in then shot out a dream🌀blast at the creature while dodging it's attacks and protecting herself with a dream catcher shield🔰. Suddenly, the dream🌀portal✨appeared behind her and she turned to see the portal again. meant this was the work of her friends And it was! She quickly ran towards it into the dream portal. it disappeared just in time Before the nightmare👁‍🗨monster could go through...

Nia gasped awake looking around the room to see Brainy and the others. including her sister Maeve too. everyone smiled with relief that she was finally awake! "Maeve?" Nia asked with confusion. "Hi, Nia." Maeve greeted her sister softly. "I'm guessing you're the reason another dream portal opened in order for me to wake up," Nia guessed. And it was true! Maeve replied back to her sister. "Yes, That's right.
I'm just glad you're ok Nia. Kara texted me about what happened to you... You really scared me! So I came over to the DEO And brought my books and research to help get you back. And it's a good thing that I did," she said worried like a big sister.

Nia had no idea as she sat there in silence and was speechless. But how could she have known?! She was passed out and trapped in the dream realm... she had to apologize to her sister and the others. Especially to Brainy to put them all through that. "Maeve, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to worry you... Any of you I mean. Especially, you. Brainy." Nia said apologizing to everyone and looked at Brainy dearly. Maeve saw the look in Her sister's eyes and Brainy's eyes as she knew both had to say a lot to each other and it was time for her to head back home. "Nia, I think it's time for me to head home and my flight leaves in 2 hours. I'm just glad you're ok." Maeve said happily as she hugged Nia goodbye. "Oh, I see. Thanks, Maeve for being here." Nia said softly while waving "bye" to her sister and walking out of the DEO heading to NC airport. the others eyed one another and knew that Nia and Brainy had a lot to talk about. Then left the room to give the two
lovebirds💚💙a chance to talk in private.

"Nia. I'm just so happy You're back. But you really scared me seeing you like that..." Brainy said softly. Nia sighed. "Brainy, I'm so sorry. I know what I did was dangerous... and you must be mad at me. And I don't blame you." Nia said sadly feeling bad and sorry for what she did.
But he wasn't mad at her at all. It was the opposite actually. Brainy just smiled happy to have her back and said with feeling... "Nia, That doesn't matter to me right now. What matters to me... is you're back and ok." He said Lovely stared into her eyes. Nia looks at him in shock. She was expecting him to be mad and yell at her for what she did! But didn't expect him to be so calm about this... it is Brainy after all😅.

"Really... You're not mad?" Nia questioned. Brainy sighed. "Well, at first I was but I'm passed that now. And I'm just glad you're back.
Nia Nal," He said Lovely while touching her hand. "Brainy," Nia said softly. "Nia," Brainy said softly. he sat on a chair beside her near her bed for her recovery from what she'd been through And leaned in toward Nia for a kiss. She didn't move. Which meant she wanted him to kiss her. Brainy pressed his lips against hers, Feeling her warmth, then Nia kissed him back pulling him closer into their kiss, and wrapped her arms around him. Their lips began to lock into one as they shared a soft passionate kiss❤️. It lasted about 1 minute. they broke the kiss and just stared into each other's eyes. "I love❤️you. Nia Nal💙," Brainy said lovely. And I love❤️you too. Querl Dox💚," Nia said lovely.
