She had almost made it to the opposite side of the tent by time Tony had finished speaking, Paige hearing not a word of what he spoke to himself. A huge grin was plastered over her darkly glossed lips, however. He had clearly been following her... And keeping a close eye on the woman. Now, for most respectable females of her innocence and simple ability to become a quick target to any creeper, many would have avoided this man's unusual behavior.
Paige, however... Found it quite attractive, especially when she shot a glance over her shoulder to spot him still deeply gazing at her. A soft, unintentional giggle spilled through her lips as she blushed, unable to keep the new soft words from being spoken:
"Is that him again there, the one I can't help but see?
Oh my, how's my hair?
I believe he is looking at me.
His eyes are so dark, so dreamy, and somehow transparent.
What is this feeling in my chest? I hope I haven't made it apparent."
Paige was whispering, not at all in control of what her lips were doing as she moved around the box of oranges after picking up two.
"I believe it is he who has followed me here and there,
With that charming smile and those dashing clothes,
He has made it impossible not to stare."
She was still going, and didn't know how. But Paige could feel his eyes still on her, and could not dare make contact in fear that he was hearing every word she softly spoke. She continued to move throughout the tent, keeping her back to him and picking up random fruits as she blushed deeply at the thought of him overhearing her.
"My cheeks are red.
I feel I'm losing my head.
I really do wonder if this bewildering boy can see,
Exactly what it is he has begun to do to me..."
Paige finished with slightly parted lips, turning around and freezing with a gulp as he stood not so far away. Tony stared at her. She stared back.
