"Chapter 1:The Bestfriends Questions."

Maya sighed exhausted from a long day at school. She decided not to go to Riley's because Josh had been staying there because of his summer program and she didn't need to reminded of how young she was for him every 10 minutes. She knew he had stopped when they had that talk on the bus but she knew he also still felt that same way, to think of her Maya as a little girl still.

So as she sat at home doing her homework, she was getting weary waiting on anyone to come home so she swallowed her courage and came climbing through Riley's window. She was kinda surprised to see Josh sitting on her bed staring at the ground playing with oogie.

As soon as Aogie seen Maya, he scolded her. "Don't you people ever knock?"He asked as Maya smiled at him trying not to laughing looking at Josh for a moment before returning her gaze to Aogie.

"Well, I could Ogster, but this way is much more Fun! You should try it sometime kid."Maya replied laughing as she left the room feeling pride swell in her chest as how easy it had gotten to ignore the boy she was once so infatuated with at one point in her life.

(Josh's POV)
I couldn't help it but stare at her as she climbed through Riley's window. I knew it was wrong because it was my niece's best friend, I always told her it was because we were three years apart but I just didn't wanna hurt Riley. As I seen her beautiful face turn my way as her blue eyes entice me I feel my heartbeat stop for a moment as I take in all of her features and that gorgeous set of long blonde locks.

I gulped feeling shivers all over my body at how beautiful she had become. Should I really keep passing up a chance with her and keep my feelings hidden. I truly don't won't to hurt my neice but I also truly don't want anyone else to have her.

Before I knew what was happening my feet were moving to fast for my own judgment as I opened the door to see her figure disappear around the corner as I followed her into the Parlour of my older brothers apartment to see everyone including someone who was not meant to be here. It was my bestfriend Trevor who was a year older then me.

I bit my lip feeling slightly angry as he kissed Maya's hand and she blushed. I knew his target as soon as I heard "Will you do me the honor of going out with me gorgeous?" Leave his mouth, there was no way in hell Maya was going out with that douche. He may be my bestfriend but I know him like an open book, she's to precious for him.

That's why I had no idea as soon as those words left his lips I went into shock and fainted on the Parlour floor.
