"A Deal With the Devil."

I abruptly sat up feeling my body jolt up from feeling like an iceberg before I open my eyes to see everyone crowding around me and My clothes soak to see Auggie give holding a bucket.

"Hey Mate, you ight?"I hear Trevor ask curiously in his Australian accent holding out his hand before I take it and stand up next to him. My eye's immediately look straight at Maya to see her quickly look away turning back to the TV in the livingroom. I frowned before having Trevor wave his hand in front of my face.

"I'm okay just need to uh clean myself up before I go meet my dorm advisor downstairs "I replied avoiding eye contact with anyone and leaving out the front Dorr forgetting I'm actually soaked from head to Toe as I take a Newport out of my pocket and light it exhaling the smoke in and out feeling relief fill me now.

I can't believe Trevor did that, out of all girls he had to pick as a target Maya just had to be one for him. You see me and him use to target girls as bets, who ever won would get a very explicit title and some cash, nothing fancy until it turned into a competition. I stopped because I know for a fact I wasn't raised like that and I never want anyone to treat my daughter like that, but Trevor didn't.

As I walk downstairs into the restaurant to see a girl with black hair, sun tan kissed, skin, and a pretty smile. It wasn't as pretty as Maya's but sense she won't give me the time of day for some reason this girl will have to do.

"Josh, your soaking wet, are you okay?"She ask suddenly standing up in shock as I stared at her form in front of me.

"Just perfect Gabby " I reply before shaking feeling a chill.

"Maybe we should re-schedule for another time Josh, your gonna get sick just sitting here in wet clothes okay " Gabby said getting her books and standing up before I grabbed her hand and she looked at me curiously as I smirked having an idea pop into my head.

"Only if you'll go out on a date with me this Saturday night, then I will go back upstairs to my room and get cleaned Up " I offered as I knew I could intervene with Maya's date with that bastard if I made it a double date. He was not getting near any inch of her like that, I promised myself that.

"Fine, but next time you better not be wet."She replied giggling as I rolled my eyes playfully to make it look like I cared at all as she walked out the restaurant with me waving goodbye before I made my way back up to my room.

Only this time there was a beautiful short blonde infront of me with a half-smile and a towel waiting for, I frowned as I seen Trevor beside her any the less, she was a sight for sore eyes.

"What are you two doing here?"I asked curiously as she held the towel out towards me avoiding eye contact as Trevor smirked at me mockingly.

"She suggested we make sure your okay and to make sure your dry because we know you just took off dude " He replied talking for her I noticed, I rolled my eyes in annoyance at how he could control her already.

I scoffed bumping shoulders with him and gently snatching the towel out of her hands staring at her as she wouldn't even look at me and felt my blood boil more.

"What's your problem?"I heard him ask beside me as I turned to stare at him this time in confusion trying to figure out who he think he is.

"I don't have one Trev, I'm just soaked and the girl of my dreams down there seen me stuck in own wet damp clothes man looking like a total idiot."I replied angrily lying seeing Maya frown from the corner of my eye.

I smirk knowing I still got here around my finger.

"Man, you've gone soft, that ain't the same Joshua I knew. He always had - I cut him off as I cleared my throat glaring at him and shaking my head as to shut up before I make him shut up. He gives a confused look before looking at Maya, then back at me and smirks mockingly.

"Maya, can I please talk to my bestfriend alone for a moment?"Trevor ask as she smiles at him and nods before going back into the Matthews apartment.

"You like that girl Josh " He said smirking at me crossing his arms. I rolled my eyes acting like I had no idea what he was talking about.

"Dude Maya's 14, I'm 17, she's to young for me and she's to young for you. You could go to jail " I reply standing up against my doorframe. He immediately smirks at me.

"Well you wouldn't mine if I took her out like I asked this Saturday night and took her back to my place to have a little fun " He ask raising an eyebrow, before I knew what took over me I slammed him up against my brother's door holding his collar in my hands glaring at him.

"Don't you ever talk about her like that Trevor, she's a fucking human being and has morals unlike you."I spit out pissed now as he kept smirking at me.

"What? Mad your not the one showing her a good time Matthews?"He asked raising an eyebrow at me before pushing me off of him as I continued to glare at him.

"Oh I see that's what it is, okay how about a little wager of my choice to make this interesting. "He ask eyeing me for a moment before continuing.

"Let's see who Maya will fall for first, fair game. Each gets days, each gets a choice. This prize is Maya's virginity " He continues as I feel my anger hit it's point at that.

I feel my fist clenched and unclench trying to calm my breathing.

"Why do you want it so bad Trev?, Maya's a great girl. That shouldn't be the prize?"I said trying to breath through my nose as he smirks.

"So that means your in then?"He ask holding his hand out as I stare at it.

"Only if that date become a double date this Saturday night, only way I'I'm making this bet at all."I reply as he nods and I shake his hand.

Shaking his hand was like making a deal with the devil himself.
