Ch 3: Truth is Found

It was Valentines day, you were alone in your room thinking about Shadow and the girl when suddenly your mom knocked on your door "Honey, your friends here!" "Just send her up" it's probably just Amy or someone like that you thought. The knob turned and the door creaked open "Hey Am-!!" What is he doing here!!!! Standing in the doorway was none other than Shadow the Hedgehog "What do you want?" "Look, what you saw the other day was a big misunderstanding" he said walking in the room and shutting the door "Oh really" you said sarcastically "Yes" you were taking back by his unusual serious expression. "Then...care to explain" you pointed at the edge of your bed "Thanks... Ok to start off she was not my new girlfriend and I am not a cheater" "ok then who was she" "Ok...she was my friends sister, and she's a jewelry clerk so we were getting together to talk about a valentines gift for you that's why you saw in the café... get it now... there's no one I'd rather be with than you, and you know that" "..." you looked at him shocked at the truth. I'm such a bitch, I jumped to conclusions based on what I saw but...it was nothing like what I thought it was... " Are you mad still? I'm sorry" I shook my head as tears welled up in my eyes "Your crying are you o-" you cut him off with a passionate kiss and he accepted it with all his love, you stayed like this for a long time until he broke the kiss and reached into his pocket and pulled out a beautifully decorated box and handed to it to you saying "I hope you like it" you took the box out of his hand and slowly opened it, inside of it was a beautiful silver locket with flowers craved around its edges and inside was a picture of the two of you on the beach at sunset, tears streamed down your cheeks as you took it out of the box "It's beautiful...Thank You!!" You wrapped your arms tightly around his neck as he brought your body close to his "(Y/N)" you looked up at him "Ya" "I love you" you smiled as you hugged him again. Suddenly you let go of him and looked into his eyes "I'm sorry Shadow... I didn't get you a present..." "I don't need one" "Huh?" "Your love for me is all I will ever need...and besides" he kissed you deeply while pushing you down to the bed "I have you as my gift" he gave you sultry smile as the two of had a love filled night together. Best Valentines Ever!
