The Long Boat Trip

Day 2

Frida woke up early in the morning. She put on a sweater over her thin summer pyjamas before she went out. To wake up out at sea with the smell of salt in the nose and feel the rising sun against the skin was one of the best things Frida knew. With slowly steps she walked to the front of the boat where there were some chairs. She took a seat on one and started to look dreamy aginst the horizon. They were far from home by now. Somewhere far out at the Baltic Sea, surly closer to Finland than Sweden. Frida brethed in the fresh sea air and really enjoyed it. She thought that she wanted to be at sea all the time.

After a while she stood up and went to put up the sail. But she got a real surprise when she realised the big holes in it. "Fuck..." It must have been a rat or something. But it wasn't actually that bad, they had the engine which worked and it wasn't that windy anyway.

The sun was now up and Frida took of her sweater, and then the pyjamas to change to the bikini which was drying on a line.
"Hi darling" Benny said. "Oh, about to sunbath?" he wondered with a laugh and did a gesture against Frida's half naked body. "No! Not when Agnetha and Björn are here too." When Frida and Benny were alone on the boat, Frida used to sunbath completely naked to get a nice tan.

"I forgot to say. There are holes in the sail" she said and walked towards Benny.
"Yeah, I can see that" he said while he was looking at the biggest of the holes.
"It must be a rat."
"A rat?! Ew..."
"Don't be such a wimp! They're not dangerous."
"No, but they're gross." Benny sighed and then stood in front of Frida to give her a kiss. The kiss were full of love and passion, and they stood there and enjoyed each others lips for quite a while.

"Good morning snogging-rats" Agnetha said as she came out. "Good-morning..." Frida said breathless between the kisses. Agnetha laughed and sighed. "Typical..."
But then they stopped. "Talking about rats... A rat have ruined our sail" Frida said and pointed at the sail on the deck.
"Oh... I hate rats" Agnetha said and made a disgusted face. "Me too..."
"It's okay. We have rat poison" Benny said. "But, I don't want it to die!" Frida exclaimed. Benny sighed. "Okay then, fine. We let it live. What should we call him?"
Frida and Agnetha laughed. "Bob!" Agnetha said. "Yeah!"
"Okay then..." Benny said and tried to hide the smile that was hiding behind his lips.

Benny, Frida and Agnetha were having lunch when they realised that the engine had stopped. Agnetha went in to Björn to see what was going on. "Have something happened?" she wondered. "Yeah. The engine just stopped  and I can't get it on..."
"Let me try..." Agnetha took place behind the big steering wheel and pushed some buttons and tried with the key. But it didn't work. "What the hell is wrong?!" Björn shouted and went out to see what was the problem. He soon found out. "The petrol is gone..."
"What? No?" Benny said. Frida sighed. "Yes, and I can't find the extra dunk..." Björn sighed and sat down. "How could I forgot to load petrol?" He said upgiven. Frida laid her hand on his shoulder. "We all forgot... It's not just you..."
"Now then? We don't have any sail either" Agnetha said. "Are you sure we don't have an extra dunk?" Benny wondered. "Yeah.."
"So..." Frida said. "How will we make it home now? We're almost in Finland, or we are in Finland!"
"I don't know" Björn said with a sigh.
"Sadly I think we have to wait for a boat to come" Agnetha said. "Yes, darling. But have you seen any boats here?" Björn asked. "Eh, no... Not out here at least..."

Suddenly everyone became very sad. They had to wait until someone came and could pick them up. And that could take a while out here. Why did they go so far?!
"Oh, come on guys!" Frida said. "We have food and water, we have each other and we have Bob!"
"Who the hell is Bob?!" Björn wondered confused. Benny, Agnetha and Frida began to laugh. "It's the rat who ruind our sail" Agnetha said. "It's maybe Bob who have taken the extra dunk with Petrol too? What does he want?!" Frida screamed and everyone laughed.

The day passed slowly, just because they knew they had to be there. If they had not known it, it would have been an amazing day. Frida was sitting in the front of the boat together with Agnetha when she saw something. "Look there. Is it a boat?"
Agnetha suddenly woke up from her day dreams and looked at the thing far away. "Hm... No.... It's too big, isn't it?"
Frida tried everything to see. "No, it's a little island I think. Shall we go there?" she wondered with a curious voice. "Eh, Frida. The boat..."
"We can swim!"
"Never! I will not swim that long! I can't almost even swim one meter without sinking!" Frida laughed. "No, now you over- react. But yeah, you're right. You can't swim too well yet."
"Thank you for understanding!" Agnetha said with a sarcastic voice, but then both started to laugh.

"Agnetha..." Frida said.
"Hm?"
"I'm so glad that you're here. Who knows, we maybe don't get rescued for a long while! And if it just had been Benny and me I don't know if I could handle this."
"I heard that!" they heard Benny scream from the other side of the big boat, and both laughed hard. "Oh, I didn't mean it darling. Sorry!"
"Yeah right..."
"Aw, Frida. I'm glad you're here too..." Agnetha and Frida took each others hands and smiled against each other.
"Forever together?" Agnetha wondered.
"Always..."
