ATWOW: Highschool au!

Beach day (pt 2)

The group of teens that Neteyam recently met were actually really fun, and they also go to his new school, which is even better!
All the teens did were go shopping, walking around, getting foods and drinks, and posting on their instagram stories. Neteyam hasn't felt this type of happiness in a while, ever since Mel moved away his old friend group kind of broke apart so he barley had friends. He knew this was a new life new journey so he's making memories while it lasts.

Everyone in that group understood each other, some of them, while shopping, did a five finger discount, which he participated in just to feel the adrenaline of it. Of course they paid for some stuff that was cheap, but other stuff, the five finger discount worked. The girls and the guys cheered him on for trying a new style, something that shows more him, and not basic boring, good fashion straight him. Shirts that show his stomach, like crop tops, low waisted jeans, tight shirts, and all of that. That day he got 2 new outfits, he was definitely gonna hang out with them again. But it was starting to close to the sunset, and like his mother said, 'be back before sunset', and he wasn't gonna let his mom down, especially since today was just a family friends day. But the others were heading home as well, although he did have to ask his mom something, and that was to take Mel back to her house, since her cousin was going to her boyfriends after.

Of course she said yes, as always, so him and Mel made their way back to where his family was. And apparently they were staying longer, mostly till sunset ends and it becomes dark. But he didn't mind if that meant more time with Mel.

7:21 pm: at the beach

Before they went back, they put everything in bags that some of their friends had stolen or bought. Just so no one can see what he bought when he took his stuff out of his sisters bag.

"Look whose back now." Lo'ak said watching his brother from afar.

"Where did he even go to? Because I know mom wouldn't allow him especially on a day like this" Tuk being Tuk, said it with a little spite, because how could their mom allow him, especially with a girl?? Unbelievable

The group of teens, Lo'ak, Tuk, Kiri, Ao'nung, Tsireya, and Rotxo, where all drying off from playing in the water, right now they were eating and playing uno. When they got out of the water, which was 20 minutes ago, they were all wondering where the hell Neteyam went. And now they saw him and are still wondering where he was, and he was walking back with a girl, smiling with happiness and laughing with her.

"Oh my goodness, look how much you've grown Mel! Your turning into a women!!" Neytiri said with excitement especially since Mel was one of her favorite. Mel invited them to her quince but only Neteyam was able to go, because the rest of the family had something important to do, but Neytiri allowed him to go since it's his friend.

"Hi Neytiri! It's so nice to see you again! Still looking gorgeous as always!" Mel replied back also with excitement, she loves Neytiri, they would always gossip about things whenever they saw each other, and most likely would now.

"We're gonna be staying here for a while, is your mom okay with that?" Neytiri had asked

"Yes she's fine with it. I have so much to tell you!"

"Well, tell me now! Let's go sit over here" Neytiri said, grabbing Mel's hand and pulling her where Neteyam was, under the umbrella on the same beach picnic blanket, the other kids, his siblings and their apparently new friends, where by the canopy, in the sun sitting on another picnic blanket, a little further away from Neteyam and them.

And of course they started all gossiping together, everything that has happen since Mel moved here. And they found out that Mel, her friends, and Neteyam where all going to the same school. Which was amazing. After all the chisme talk, Neteyam and Mel asked Neytiri if they could hang out at the mall to watch a movie, specifically The Little Mermaid, with Mel's and Neteyams friends, they wanted to go on Friday night, so that way in the morning they could have brunch together, and in the afternoon they could walk around the mall until it's a decent time to go the movie theater and watch the movie. Neytiri told them she'll see, mostly saying that to check in with her husband to see if they're doing anything that day.

The parents started playing music, just to make it less quiet, Jake and Tonowari where drinking beers and talking, while Neytiri and Ronal were also talking, when the song La Vida Es Un Carnaval by Celia Cruz, Neytiri and Ronal screamed because that was their song, and started dancing, then Tsireya, Kiri and Tuk started to join, Mel wanted to join so she pulled and force Neteyam to dance with her, so they did. They all danced together, no one really cared, they mostly laughed at how Melissa was leading Neteyam instead of the other way around. But at the end of the night, everyone had fun. And it was time to go, especially since how it was 9:30 pm and it takes 20 minutes to get back home, and the sully family had to drop off Melissa.

11:30 pm after getting home and everyone getting ready for bed

Neteyam was doing his regular nighttime skincare routine, until his sister, Kiri knocked on his door and went into his room.

"Is there something you need?" Neteyam asked, wondering why she's in his room this late at night.

"Are you serious? You leave me with Lo'ak and Tuk to go with Melissa!" Kiri said as she closed Neteyams door. She loved Melissa, i mean come on, Mel had the same interest as her!

"Is there a problem with that? I mean she's my friend and I haven't seen her in years! We only texted and call and that was it, what's so wrong about me having friends. Besides you were with mom and dads friends kids." Neteyam says while putting his skin care away and goes to his bed to charge his phone.

"The problem is that I'm also friends with Melissa and I would love to hang out with her and see her again too! You didn't even tell me or ask me!" Kiri shots back walking over to his desk and sitting on his chair.

"Kiri, come on now. You were hanging out with that girl, obviously I wouldn't ask you, I mean you seemed happy to be with her" Neteyam says, while sitting down on his bed

"Yea cause she likes the same things as I do, but I much rather hang with you and Mel than someone I met. Also Tsireya knows who Melissa is, and she's friends with her cousin, which hanged out with you too!"

"Well I'm sorry I didn't know Kiri. I mean i didn't even meet the girl, and besides, you could've called me or texted me that you wanted to hang out with us!"

"My phone was on low battery, besides, be careful with those discounts"

"What do you mean?"

"You think Tsireya didn't tell me that they do five finger discounts?"

"Don't act like you haven't before Kiri. We all know you have, don't be a hypocrite."

"Yea well you don't know those people, I mean they could tell on you for doing that and then acting like they didn't do it too"

"Kiri I know you don't like meeting new people but cmon, I can't just stay here hanging out with you guys all the time at high school, that would make me look more like a loser. And besides, they are actually encouraging me to not look like a fucking straight boy with a good sense of style and turn my style into me and what I actually want to wear. We both know that I'm gay, don't even hide it."

"Wow... that was kind of hurtful." Kiri says while standing up and about to walk to the door

"Kiri- wait- no- i didn't mean it like that! I just meant that I need my own group of people!" Neteyam says while also standing up and grabbing Kiris wrist

"Yea i know, but you still could've asked me to go."

"Alright well.. I'll see if i can invite you to go with me and Mel on Friday with her friends, if I can go"

"Go where?"

"To the movies, mom said that i could go but she has to ask dad, which will be a yes."

"Alright, well, what did you even get while shopping, I did see your stories"

"I'll show you tomorrow, now go to bed Kiri, it's late, probably already 12"

"Okay whatever, good night tey"

"Good night Kiri"

   I hate this sm but I made it cause I promised but it's shit cause of writers block 😭😭
I might post another one, depends though, also lmk if i should make a book that's basically just the instagram stories and photos and stuff like that! Anyways bye loves!!
